Jack, thank you. I look forward to the next part of your message. As I was reading, it seemed that the smoke was during or before 2015; the flame started in 2016, and it burst into magnified view on January 6. The followers have been fanning it continually, possibly with a partial blindness to the total significance, ever since. It has become an all out emergency with far too much remaining potential, even beyond what has been and is taking place. I am gratefully anticipating what you will send tonight. Various people believe we will get through this. I am eager to learn how.

You’re spot on. The smoke was there long before most wanted to see it. 2016 was the ignition...January 6th was the flame leaping into full view...and ever since his followers have been stoking it with either blind loyalty or willful ignorance.

You’re right...it is an all-out emergency...and that’s why tonight’s piece is about more than just naming the fire. It’s about what to do when you’re standing in it. Grateful for readers like you who don’t just “hope” we get through this...but demand to know how. That’s the difference between surviving and getting burned.

Jack, thank you. Your daily messages help me realize I am not crazy to be fearful of where tRUMP is taking this country. I was a history major in college and I served 8 years in the Navy taking 4 "cruises to Vietnam, 3 aboard destroyers doing gunfire support, first time during the Tet Offensive and on aboard an world war II LST out of Danang. I saw what Nixon did, I saw what George Bush did which pales in comparison to what tRUMP is doing. I look forward to you. messages so I know I am not losing my sanity and can tell people around me how dangerous this time is.

Your perspective carries weight most people can’t match, Allen. You’ve seen war...you’ve seen presidents abuse power...and you know firsthand how dangerous it gets when leaders cross the line.

If Bush and Nixon pale next to Trump...that says everything. You’re not crazy...you’re clear-eyed. And if my daily messages help steady that clarity and give you ammunition to warn others...then we’re doing exactly what needs to be done. Stay sharp...we’re in the fight together!

Thank you for another great article Jack. I think trump’s goal of enacting Martial Law has been in the works for quite some time. Anyone who doesn’t believe he’ll do it needs to take their blinders off. I, personally, don’t think he’ll be alive by midterms. All the more reason for him to ramp up his efforts for total control. I could be wrong, but my gut is telling me differently.

You’re seeing it exactly as it is, Lori. This hasn’t been some sudden brainstorm from Trump...it’s been in the works piece by piece...test by test...for years.

Anyone still doubting he’d go as far as martial law is either blind or willfully ignorant. And you’re right...the clock is ticking on his health...which makes him even more desperate to seize control while he still can. That’s why the pressure is mounting now...not later. Thank you for cutting through the fog and saying it plain.

I came into the comments to mention his failing health, so thank you, Lori R, for bringing it up. I doubt Dumpy will last another six months. And JD is eagerly waiting in the wings, with the full backing of Peter Thiel and Project 2025. I also wondered, Jack, if all of the machinations behind the idea of martial law are really coming from Stephen Miller, not Dumpy at all! Miller is truly dangerous. Thank you for your clear and necessary posts, Jack, even if they are frightening! Looking forward to the subscriber-only column.

In warfarehistorynetwork.com is an article, ‘The Buttenwald Concentration Camp: Patton’s Bastardly Discovery’ by Flint Whitlock. Within that article are photographs; one is of a translator showing Patton, Bradley, and Eisenhower how Ohrdruf prisoners were tortured. Eisenhower is quoted as saying, “We are told the American soldier does not know what he is fighting for. Now, at least, he will know what he is fighting against.”

Let’s take that sentiment and encourage those we know who are disgruntled with the Democratic Party and encourage them to speak up and speak against what is unfolding before our eyes. Action now shows nothing more or less than love of country; it is not partisan, all sides need to be concerned and active.

We need to shift into high gear now, not next month, not next year, NOW.

That Eisenhower line says it all. When you’re face-to-face with evil...you no longer debate policy, Mary. You fight because you know what you’re up against.

That’s where we are now. This isn’t about left vs. right...Democrat vs. Republican...it’s about saving the country from a man hell-bent on tearing it apart. You’re dead right: action delayed is action wasted. High gear isn’t tomorrow...it’s now.

I wish my husband was as concerned as I am about what is coming. Yes, he knows the administation is evil but he doesn't seem to want to face what will come soon. That makes it very hard to be prepared for what comes next. Also, I wanted to expand my business but with what we expect to be happening soon, it will be for nothing. I hope we are wrong and things get back on track. I worked too hard to be where I am to have it all be gone in the blink of an eye.

I hear you loud and clear, Aleece. It’s tough when the people closest to us would rather look away than face what’s coming...it leaves you carrying the weight for two.

But that makes your preparation even more critical. You’re not wrong to think about your business...your hard work...your future...it’s exactly what’s at stake.

I hope we’re wrong too. But if we’re right...the ones who had the courage to prepare won’t lose it all in the blink of an eye. You’re ahead of the curve...stay there.

And what a meeting that was. Ordinary citizens standing their ground against Trump’s goons...that’s the kind of spirit they can’t stamp out no matter how hard they swing. Stories like that remind us what courage looks like in real time, Lynne.

This sounds pretty glum, but looking down the road, I don’t see this ending without blood spilled on our streets in a second Civil War. There are many more of us than there are them. They know this and that’s why they go to such extreme measures to hold tight on the power lever.
