Jack, you said exactly what I've been thinking for months. I'm tired of the messages begging for money. Show me why you deserve my hard-earned dollars. I would never, never, NEVER vote for a Republican, so the Dems have my vote, but it feels like, Nero, they're fiddling while Rome burns.
I agree. Stay tuned for the next issue, where I address the suggestion from our leaders that they are "Already doing all we can," and the question from some Dem voters who ask me, "What more can they do that they aren't already doing?!?!"
It will be out later this evening...or tomorrow morning. I'm working on it now.
Thank you! That’s exactly what I want our Democratic elected officials to do! Everything they freaking can do! I’ve seen more courageous acts from citizens than the people who have been elected to protect our democracy.
You're welcome, Jacqueline. I agree. We are watching the equivalent of bringing a 25-foot garden hose to a high-rise apartment building fire, and the results will be similar; there will be many casualties.
Jack, if I could find a way to forward this to every elected Democrat I certainly would. And I know all of your followers would, too. Somebody has to step forward and hold the administration accountable. I honestly thought someone would months ago. But they seem to be either too complacent, too traumatized, or too lethargic to make a move. Scary as hell.
You are right, Jan! No doubt about it. Mo posted a comment on how she was able to forward it. If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
I expect my elected officials to be bold like John Hancock and consistent like John Lewis - be outspoken and make good trouble every day. Somehow, it’s not happening - so let ‘em have it, Jack. Thank you for saying what needs to be said.
You’re welcome, Jill. Damn right. We didn’t elect ghostwriters—we elected leaders. If they’re not bold like Hancock or relentless like Lewis, they’re wasting the seat.
This is the message I've been dreaming about ! I mean it. The days of gentility and reaching across the isle are long gone.
You put it to them -- someone needed to. Make sure they get this message. They must participate in a meaningful way. They cannot just rely on the people protests. They DO need to think and act unconventionally. Like you must in war.
I’m glad it seems to be resonating with people, Leslie. You probably don’t want me to write your resume…lol, but my knack has always seemed to be getting the intensity of the moment across.

It does feel like the Democrat’s party leadership is AWOL.

I restacked it, and sent it to Senate and House
Thank you, Mo!🔥
👍
Excellent. This should be forwarded repeatedly to all of them. Verbatim.
Thank you, Randy. 💙🔥
