Isn’t it sad, that nothing the 🍊💩 says, is based on truth? And umpteen million STILL believe it! What’s it going to take for them to finally finally understand that?
Yesterday, I printed out Jack’s Newsletter for paid subscribers entitled “The Collapse Sequence.” After reading through it twice I determined that understanding the sequence would be vital to my understanding the Trump Administration from this day forward. I will be reading it several more times until the psychological lessons sink into my engineering mind.
Now to today’s newsletter. As a retired nuclear Submarine Captain, I understand the difference between a war fought on the ground (or in the ocean) to one that is waged in the media. Vietnam was a prime example of the government telling a significantly different story than what the soldiers on the ground were experiencing. Most Americans don’t read Jack’s newsletters or watch mainstream media. Instead, they use internet postings or the word of mouth being broadcasted by the extreme of either party as their source of “information”. For the people that are just trying to go about their daily lives are only hearing a snippet of what is actually going on. Unfortunately, because Trump is our President, the mainstream media and internet will carry anything Trump says. Since the listeners’ interpretation filter is not well honed, the tendency is for them to believe the leader of the country and just move on. Doubts may come in if the listeners’ personal experiences differ from what the Leader says is happening and they remember what the leader said.
So, those of us who consider ourselves “better informed” see the lies for what they are and then shaking our heads in disgust thinking, how can the others be so stupid. It is the society we live in. Because of the drivel we hear in TV political ads many Americans decide that voting for any idiot is simply not worthwhile. So, they don’t vote. As a result, they make up the largest voting bloc in America’s elections. This is what makes Jack’s newsletters so important. He provides the guideposts to future understanding. This will be vital as we move through the next 2 years and beyond. Jack is not feeding us fish; he is teaching us how to fish.
TRUMP LIES…his entire regime lies to please “the boss!” I do not believe anything currently being reported by the White House or Pentagon, and the entire government in general! How very sad that this where we are, and especially at this time of crisis, in a war that was built on lies to begin with! We all need to remember Trump lies, and he always has, always will!
DJT lies? Say it ain't so, Joe!!! And of course, he would also have ended the Vietnam war (like he also said he would for Ukraine). Sorry, bad pun for those that served in Vietnam, but Agent Orange has returned in human form.
This is a huge deal. I think it's pretty well known that every administration performs some obfuscation of the truth. This, however, rises to the level of an out and out lie to the American people. So, we now have a situation where the president and his acolytes have put the entire US military - our sons and daughters - in harm's way. All the while they're telling lies about what's actually happening. To make it worse, our troops are not receiving the FOOD they need daily. I don't want to be alarmist about this, but I can't help but think of the Yemeni attack of the USS Cole. THAT can never happen again. EVER.
I've watched enough YouTube videos on the history of war and what asymmetric warfare can accomplish to know rump never listened to any military advisors worth a damn. The height of ridiculousness was rump not wanting to learn from the destruction in Russia.
Jack, please take my comments as a “tongue-in-cheek” compliment 😊. I often used song lyrics or movies in my teaching…..it made the point I intended in a way that “spoke” to many students. This teaching method is the basis of Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences.
The title of your newsletter immediately put my curriculum development brain into motion. To further your clever play on words, I immediately visualized you with an Arturo Fuente cigar (my late husbands favorite), bottle of Jack with your cowboy hat pushed back…….here’s a couple of verses from the song de jour:
