Beautiful!!! That’s why are here…doing what we can to make certain that our country, our democracy will still be here when this ends…hoping that will be sooner, rather than later!

Thank you, Christie. Yes! We are.🔥

Thank you for reminding us why we’re here, Jack. I understand.. and although it’s been a pretty discouraging week.. I’m still here.. doing the quiet work. Sometimes it doesn’t seem like it matters, but I suppose it does so I’ll just keep on doing it.

I just hope that I get to see at least a glimpse of the sanctuary on the other side before my life is over. Either way, I’ll never stop doing the quiet work… Because it matters.

Great story of perseverance and dedication. I hope I can follow his lead.

Thank you, Steven. I’ve come to know a bit about you. I have a great deal of confidence that you can.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. The next couple of weeks will be challenging.

Another beatiful commentary on The Gatekeeper.

What it means whenever americans get up every mornings, "to to work" retardless of what tye Stock Market did the day before.

Dr. Black…thank you. I couldn’t agree more.

Jack, yes we do (know what the story means) and I, for one, am incredibly grateful you’re here to remind us.

The old gatekeeper may see what he does as his calling, his mission or maybe simply his job. No matter, he shows up faithfully and therein lies the beauty. I’ve been all up in the feels today and this touches deeply in the right way.

Thank you! Somehow (are you empathic or psychic?) you manage to meet the moment and what we all need when we need it. That is an amazing gift no matter how you do it! You totally rock. 😊

I remember the ridicule heaped on Dan Rather when he signed off from his CBS evening newscast with “courage” for a short time in the mid 80’s. Thinking it might be time to resurrect that-won’t be at CBS though, cravenly cowards all!

Love the story as it shows we have continue to take every day in stride and stay focused on putting one foot in front of the other. We have to believe in what we are doing is for others and the betterment of them. Thanks for the reminder!

That is truly lovely, Jack. And, yes, I know what it means to me, and I hope with all my heart that we will continue opening the gate, to pick up the fallen and help those in need, to be ready for the next storm. .

Lovely allegory. May we all be the ones who keep the gates of democracy open.

In the midst of all of the chaos over the self appointed king, better known as the Orange Cheeto, all of the smoke and mirrors that confuse voters by means of a shell game, all of the arguments over the Epstein Files, and all of the gallons of peroxide that are guaranteed to make the reflecting pool green again, Jack has presented us with this lovely little piece that focuses on how wonderful it must be to do nothing stressful but to turn off you phone, take a leisurely stroll through the woods, and just breathe.

Thanks, Jack!

As ever, thank you, Jack. #HoldingFast even during storms, even when tired, when angry, when sad.
