It's always cathartic to let off steam now and then and I believe you have a good thing going with this post. Well done. Just as we’d like to see Patel’s goose cooked. Truly an inspired takedown, if anything too polite. I wouldn’t hold back, but I’m learning a little self restraint. But, say, in the days I’d be walking to my car from Winterland after a show, (and not the best place to be at 3 am), I’d just act like an unhoused lunatic (less common back then) to keep the actual denizens away.
It always worked. Perhaps even more strange, in all those years and shows, no one ever fucked with my car, which was a Triumph Spitfire with Corvette guts. And I never put the top up. But if I saw that creature coming toward me I would not just cross the street to get away, I’d slip into a doorway and hope he kept on walking.
I love this rant! It is unbelievable how unimaginable “evilly” incompetent the entire administration is and how completely spineless the Republicans are. There is no way our founding fathers could imagine how stupid a large majority of Americans would be.
It is hilarious, though. We should have no loftier ambition than to mercilessly mock KP at every opportunity. Kind of like how my kids always know to point and laugh while I sieg heil at every cyber truck.
