Booyah🙌🏽.. Jack I’ll take the win today and back to work tomorrow keeping our country safe and sane and trying to hold the line.. until that Fat Orange Fuck and his cronies are out of office.. #HoldingFast!!
I think those of us that follow you know already we have an uphill battle for the next 2 years and can't just sit back. They are going to try and make everything harder. Of course with drumpf's obvious mental and physical decline he may not make the next 2 years and we will end up with vance. If when we get our people in we can start with getting rid go kegsbreath. Hopefully we won't lose anymore military personnel.
I am so elated and so are all of my friends in this country, (save a few) and friends around the world. Last night was such a gift, I went to bed happy and woke up happy, which hasn't happened in a very long time! I always appreciate your posts Jack. Thank you!
I haven’t really celebrated just yet…. and will. Stayed up way too late last night as I was pretty keyed up over the Senate and House races for my area so am quite tired. It will be an early night with some decent sleep on my list.
The House race was finally called early this afternoon and my maga rep lost his job…. all my chosen candidates made it and I am geeked! Back to the job at hand tomorrow. Now about those political wishes that haven't come to pass just yet……. Go cheeseburgers!!
Now the hard part starts. Watch for fuckery between now and January.
Jeffries and Schumer have to go. We need tough, smart leaders who won't spout the "look forward, not back" bullshit. Don't bother impeaching Trump. The votes aren't there to convict in the Senate. Go after those around him, especially the corrupt politicians and family members. They'll start to flip to try to save their worthless asses. THAT'S how we get Trump.
Precisely. Most of us will need a day or two to celebrate and decompress. Then it’s back to work. We have a government to renovate.
I was encouraged to hear both Raskin (future chair of House Judiciary) and Garcia (future chair of House Oversight) say that there will be both needed legislation (restoring SNAP and Medicaid, ACA premium subsidies, etc.) plus accountability for all the corruption, chaos, and cruelty. Yes, I’m sure we all know that donny will likely not sign what Congress passes. That doesn’t mean we don’t do it anyway. People need to see work actually getting done. It’s the only way to restore some credibility. Even if all that’s accomplished are public hearings to make cases for future indictments and a number of bills teed up to pass as soon as a Dem POTUS takes the wheel, it’s at least a show of good faith. That’s important, IMO.
Jubilant democracy results so incredible🙏 🎉💙🇺🇸🌎🥰 Thank you Jack and everyone who voted… it feels so good to feel the joy spilling over and a smile that won’t quit 💪💪💪 We need to let the elected officials know they work for the people of the USA 🇺🇸 and ensure accountability and justice for all 💙💙💙
I will savor it for today! I have already been on alert for what happens next. I think the WH is still reeling from the loss. Trump has an endless supply of sharpies to executive order the next 2 years. It looks like Hegseth maybe the sacrificial cabinet member for the blue tsunami. I'm ready to roll up my sleeves and keep fighting. Michigan went blue in a big way!!! #HOLDFAST
A couple of comments about the article. Jack's points were very well presented. I would like to look at another possible scenario. First, I was wrong about my prediction of violence in major polling sites. The elections were universally peaceful and apparently well run.
What if Stephen Miller and his ultra wealthy string pullers decided that a political violence campaign would hurt them more than help them. If this were the case, the oligarchs may be trying to play the long game in hopes that the negative effects of a peaceful transition can be overcome through strategic donations to hurting democratic office holders. So, we might just see a period of sharp rhetoric from Trump and little action by defeated Republicans. I can envision the democrats over promising on the actions they think would be effective and thus self destruct as Trump did leading up to the mid terms. The only semblance a plan of action came from Jamie Raskin and his 53 page summary of evidence concerning the Epstein investigation. The new congress will need to get real quickly to keep from falling into the over-promise, under-deliver trap. Plan early is a lesson they will need to learn and cultivate quickly. Setting realist expectations will be critical to any effort. You never know. Just a thought.
As usual, a very thought provoking article by Jack.
Jack, do you think trump is plotting his next move? Is he going on a trip out of the country and bidding us a found fuck all of you? Why would he stay to be impeached or indicted for the Epstein files? Next, what country could he flee to? Would the Saudis take rotten trump? Putin would probably have further use for him. Tks.
I look forward to your thoughts on Schumer and Jeffries. My view is that as long as they are in leadership, the Democrats will ruin this chance they’ve been given. I see them as owned by AIPAC which is problematic.
Always appreciate these reminders: "Call your new representative before they’re sworn in and tell them what you expect." I read your article and sent my new one an email. 25th Amendment Section 4 and get rid of all of them.
Okay but what I want to know is about your thought that either we're going to drop the MOAB in Iran, go after their energy infrastructure, etc. or, as per another post, Israel is going to drop a nuclear bomb on them. Is this threat over because of Trump and Netanyahu taking political hits? It's the 4th you thought we'd have until the 7th at most. Is this still what you're thinking?

Never doubted it for a minute, Morgan! Yes...YOU will. And...yes...WE will.

Teri...your last line: Hopefully we won't lose anymore military personnel."
