The Orange Shitstain has always been a media whore.. starve him of his oxygen.. cause I don’t give a flying fuck about anything he has to say.

Jack Hopkins's avatar

Morgan...I love the rawness of this! And...and I agree with you...on it ALL.

Thanks Jack.. I just don’t want to listen or read anything he has to say cause it’s all bullshit.. the only thing I want is to crush his microballs in the midterms..

Elizabeth Goodden's avatar

Morgan, let’s not forget his micro mushroom penis!

Morgan's avatar

Thank you Elizabeth I almost forgot that itty bitty detail😂

Excellent analysis and advice!

Seems so simple, but there are so many forces and "traditions" preventing the media taking the only logical steps, just as Jack suggests.

Trump is al "Snap, Crackle and Pop" - with no actual Rice Krispies. (but I date myself...)

Jack Hopkins's avatar

Dr. David...thanks, and “Snap, Crackle and Pop with no Rice Krispies” lol...is better than anything in my piece.

You’re right that the obstacles are mostly TRADITION rather than logic. “We cover what the President says” is a HABIT...that made sense when presidents spoke rarely and CAREFULLY.

Nobody ever went back and asked...whether the rule STILL holds when the speaking is the WHOLE strategy. THAT...is the very the conversation...I’m trying to START.

-Jack

Elizabeth Goodden's avatar

No other politician has done the speaking IS the strategy before. I think that’s why people are “afraid” to quit him!

Carlye Hooten's avatar

But it's funny! 🤣

Cherae Stone's avatar

Agree. Not gonna watch him. Not gonna listen. I. Do. Not. Care. What. He. Says.

You will let me know if his nasty mouth brings about something I need to know about.

Jack Hopkins's avatar

Rae...That...I WILL.

I know I can count on you. You’re a good man, Charlie Brown.

Raymond Wilson's avatar

Thank you, Cherae! 99% of what he says is totally bullshit. And thank you, Jack! for reminding us all that we have the sovereign right to switch away from any medium that lends him a microphone.

Jack Hopkins's avatar

Raymond...my pleasure.

And...thank YOU. You interpreted that piece exactly as I hoped. Thanks for reading it with such attention!

Most welcome, Raymond.

I appreciated the Pinocchio count as was published in the Washington Post before changes were made to its reporting. I stopped subscribing because of misleading headlines and the letting go of people I appreciated st that newspaper. I felt that the headlines were written or rewritten by someone in ways to throw the election a couple of years ago. Subscribing to any publication that would be misleading that way, would be paying in and playing in to supporting something I did not believe.

We have this conversation routinely in our household: I say we need to know what the president is saying so we know what to fight. Husband, "The press should just ignore him. Don't cover him, don't air his speeches." In "normal" times we should know what the president is saying, we should care, we should listen. But now, maybe you both are right. Just ignore him. Turn the cameras off.

Roberta...I won't even speak to "who's right?"

Why? The most impressive thing in your comment is your openness to even CONSIDER that what you've pushed back on in the past...might...at least in this context...have a more useful option.

That's impressive...and made me smile. Most of the jams I've ever worked myself into started with me not allowing for the option that my belief wasn't as useful, and that an alternative existed.

Well done!

Well, Jack, when two things are equal ....

Well done Jack. It’s eyeball count economics - the basis for media valuations. Close your eyes

Jack Hopkins's avatar

Thank you, John.

"Eyeball count economics." I love that. That one will stick with me and will no doubt work its way into my vocabulary. Much appreciated!

Excellent, Jack! Agree that his primary objective his entire life (from the Barbara Walters interviews through to today), has been too be an ATTENTION WHORE! Plain and simple. Look at me and how "great" I am. He wouldn't know great if he drowned in it!

I understand that he didn't have the best childhood or the best of upbringing, but at some point in time, AN ADULT has to decide to rise above their past and become an actual contributor to life and society. Clearly, the orange windy bag of flatulating assholes totally missed that memo!

I definitely like this….. was just sitting here reflecting on how much I actually watch him. Turns out it’s very little…. about the only time I see him is in a clip from a substack report (Aaron Parnas will include clips if relevant).

Just think of all the regulated nervous systems if msm decided to do this…. Wow! As they say in Star Trek…. “Make it so”…. please.

Thanks, Jack. This is great.

I cannot stand to look at his face or hear him speak. Reading what he has said is a total waste of time; everything that comes out of his pie hole is crap. If I see his photo I scroll on immediately. #HoldFast

You said it, Jack, for sure, that the person robs time from people and the means of gaining that time, although that is not as directly or as well as you described it.

I am thankful not to have a television, not to go places where the person is aired, and to only see what is necessary as shown briefly by people who recognize the truth of the greed, etc., and handle it carefully. I have never understood why some people miss the point that there is no value, no genuine caring, no betterment coming from that source. Yet the same individuals have overlooked wise and dedicated individuals who do have wisdom and caring, and those misled people do not listen to recognize and appreciate the truth and the value of the very individuals they vote against, and brag about it.

The people with the opposite perspectives are often people who listen to altered reports and refuse to listen to the whole truth with the context of what really took place. Instead, they believe altered or cut off videos of opponents. They will not believe a first hand observer or a truthful article.

I think he has so overcompensated for being an ignored, spoiled, petulant child he is ADDICTED to cheering crowds, applause, and his own babble! My husband & I have a steadfast rule: never, EVER watch him or listen to him live! We do this because we realize you can’t “unsee” or “unhear” him, so we protect our psyche by tuning him OUT! #HOLDFAST

Seems simple enough. Doable even, in a perfect environment. But there are too many people, outlets, businesses that thrive on the BS. Just as with calling for boycotts, general strikes, and immediate fact checking, there are too many holes in the bucket. The fire is too widespread to be put out by throwing a blanket on the flames. Keep hammering on the lies and the craziness. Keep demanding medical attention. Keep exposing the ridiculous. Demand responses from all, not shoulder shrugs.

Each statement that t utters is more outrageous than the last. It's on purpose! he's losing what he has and had always wanted - Attention.

Maybe, finally, he is starting to be deprived of that which he feeds on. How many rallies and events has he put on even though he can not and is not legally able to run for re-election? he appears to be more interested in getting attention than actually doing the work/office that he was "elected" to do.
