We are in the “before” November 3rd times for now.
The vote is a now-before issue for me.
Additionally, candidate events are so crowded I need a separate calendar to keep track. Candidate support has become my primary dedication for a few months now. Postcards. Community events participation. Fundraisers. These have become life enhancing experiences of community. The issues motivating Main Street protests have not gone away. But candidate posters are sharing space with the issue themes. It is a political evolution, unanticipated, surprising, appropriate and welcome additions to include candidate posters at rush hour from the curb.
Vote encouragements have by far been the biggest, positive driver responses over the years.
It's inspiring to hear how candidate work has become REAL community for you...and seeing candidate posters join the issue signs at the curb...is a PERFECT picture of this moment!

Some places have early voting available now. I believe that voting early if possible, this year in particular, is a good idea. It feels good to have voted already.
Spot on Jack. He is his whole world, he can't see beyond a world he doesn't exist in. When he is gone, it's not his problem. That is the issue when you have a dying narcissist leading the country. It is only about his greatness. Every story turns out to be about him. He has already told us too many times to count exactly who and what he values. I have had it with his supporters justifications of his behavior.
I have been on vacation on the East Coast. While walking by the ocean, a man walked by with a t-shirt on that took me a minute to process. This is what it said and this is where I will leave it "Waiting on a big, beautiful obituary" #holdfast
"Every story turns out to be about him" says it better than I did. That shirt would have stopped me in my tracks as well!
Hope the ocean air was restorative...we could ALL use a vacation like that to RE-charge fully.
Now, I can't get that T-shirt out of my head. I suspect at least 100 million people in this country would make room for that shirt in their home.

It’s infuriating that our Republican Congress and our corrupt Supreme Court continue to allow that jackass donald run this country into the ground, caring not ONE WHIT about anyone but his own useless hide. Infuriating
I’m always trying to determine Trump’s mental health as his morality has shown itself to be lacking forever. His actions, words, self dealing, all deserve scrutiny. This post wasn’t exactly encouraging but it is what it is. Self absorbed, desperate, do those indicate his intentions? Check your voter registration, seriously check it again, and vote with everyone you know.
Jack, I’ve believed for a while now that he is exactly what people have been saying….. his niece and many, many respected mental health professionals…. and that is a malignant narcissist with psychopathy. Nothing outside of himself exists in his world. He owns and controls it ALL. Nasty women? Can’t control them. Immigrants with non-white skin? He cannot see himself reflected in them…. and on and on.
His niece (PhD psychologist) Mary has described him as a nihilist that would burn it all down on the way out. Dr Bandy Lee has been raising the alarm for a LONG time (since his first term). I listened just yesterday to an interview that Dean Obeidallah did with her…. She is a psychiatrist that specializes in criminal behavior, has worked in prisons, etc. She described his ‘issues’ as a dime a dozen BUT the amount of power he has combined with the psychopathy isn’t something she’s ever seen. She also addressed the ‘we can’t diagnose anyone in the public sphere if they aren’t our patient’ stance taken early on by the medical institutions. She clearly states this is observation based, NOT an official diagnosis. It’s been reported her book was used by t’s first chief of staff (Kelly, I think) to manage him.
I am personally frightened at what he might do and….. at the same time, don’t really think about it much because that part is out of my control…. IMHO he should be hospitalized and be held incommunicado with the world at large. He is a very, very damaged and sick person. How and why he’s been allowed to remain in office is something I’m sure history will discuss with many a thesis paper written about it.
We’re in a scary time and MUST vote in absolute droves while also being prepared for most anything…. It could get pretty challenging.
Thank you for writing this. It’s sorely needed by the public at large. People need to see him for what he is.
Trump is pure id. If he’s not alive, no one else should be either. The equivalent of a man killing his girlfriend, or wife because if he can’t have her no one can. Trump is extremely dangerous , and SCOTUS and Congress do not have the will to stop him, in fact it seems they egg him on, for some misguided idea that the end is near and Jesus is coming back. We have a severely mentally unstable government.
We are all losers and suckers in his hollow chest.
Thousands of issue based and insanely formed vocalizations out of his oddly shaped mouth for years.
Time for a decisive response.
