I support sisterdistrict.com in supporting strategically selected Democratic candidates for state offices, and everystateblue.org for providing a campaign funding floor for Democratic candidates, even in improbable races. I'm a Red Cross disaster volunteer, and we are busier than ever as FEMA is cut down. I need to get back on daily track with 5calls.org, but I truly AM tired!
Thank you for this information. You continue to validate what I have been doing for years. I have been an ACLU monthly donor for 32 years, Southern Poverty Law Center for 35 years, Planned Parenthood for 30 years, and a monthly donor of several other organizations that promote voting, civil rights, and a litany of others. I have recently been thinking that these actions are not enough but you have made me feel that every little action from the past and those I will continue to do in the future really do make a difference. When I was working (now retired community banker) my coworkers always thought my need to do for others was some sign of making myself some type of superior human. Some of my greatest joys were doing for people I knew - the best part of my job as a banker was using common sense dealing with customers who sometimes just wanted to be heard and the problems they wanted addressed be dealt with. I guess in my rambling way I have to tell how grateful I am that I found Jack Hopkins and that everything you put out there make me determined to continue to make a difference.
