Chicago O'Hare isn't running it either. NO is a complete sentence. ✊🏻

It's big on the AITAH Reddit thread. That's where I got it from. It's perfect for our current political situation 😁

It's big on Reddit in general, I think. I've said it there myself. 🙂

Perfect. Chapter 5 of Timothy Snyder’s On Tyranny reflects on the importance of remembering professional ethics. The quiet heroes who blocked Noem’s propaganda video remembered professional ethics written into laws and procedures.

“That’s how lawful refusal works: it uses the system’s own spine to hold it upright.”. These words are music to my ears. That’s why I speak of UPHOLDING the mission of, for example, our National Parks instead of DEFENDING them. It may be considered just semantic but to me it gives us the advantage. We shouldn’t need to “defend” places already protected. Only to uphold those protections. Thank you beloved @jackhopkins. One Love!

Thank you for highlighting the power of quiet, professional, ethical protest and denial of movement for authoritarian actors!

When Reagan was POTUS, Nancy Reagan had a slogan regarding kids and drugs. “Just Say No.” Seems like that could be re-purposed.
