I usually print your stuff but this one goes on top, will be converted to Excel and of course as a Bingo card. This is already and about to be as or more nuanced and complicated than I assumed when the story broke. “No one said a word,” still jumps out at me as a pivotal phrase. But I can’t quite anticipate in which direction. Echoes of My Lai resonate even still.

And wow, sorry to hear about your .. “disability”? But if not for it, we might not be able to enjoy your insight to these matters. It’s tacky to say “this is an event you were born to cover” but I seriously doubt anyone would bring to light the subtle minutiae about which most civilians would be clueless.

I was looking for the names of the two repatriated “terrorists” accused of smuggling drugs who had their boat blown up. Find them ask them. They have been hidden. This is what you get when you ask … No, the names of the two foreign nationals picked up in the water after the bombing are not publicly available in the provided search results.

I am going to watch this Admiral Bradley thing a while before I make up my mind about him. They say he admires Trump which is a big red flag for me. I don't trust anybody that admires Trump! Why would we?

Jack, honestly I’d like to believe that Bradley will act honorably, but the fact that he willingly executed an illegal order has me believing otherwise. And I say this precisely because of his pedigree; as an outstanding officer and the adult in the room

Therefore, a guy with his intelligence and experience would know better; he has no excuse to execute an order he knows is illegal. He certainly wasn’t the adult in the room that day!

Furthermore, what are the actual chances he will divulge many aspects of the mission? Aren’t these operations considered SAP’s? I’d say the chances are zilch and nada (just my two cents, I’m no expert).

Moreover, since this meeting will occur behind closed doors, or at least the most sensitive parts will be, what are the chances that republicans distort the truth, and try to create another false narrative?

My money’s on them manipulating the facts and creating the false narrative before the truth ever gets out of the starting gate.

I know most of this is pure speculation, but nothing surprises me anymore. At best, I’m wrong, but even if so, the truth will never see the light of day; at least the whole truth, they’ll let us know parts that help us them set the false narrative, a d within a a few days, the MSM will move in to the next outrage of the day.

FYI: notice what isn’t being talked about by any of the MSM media outlet: Witkoff and Kushner’s wasted meeting with Putin, which ended in failure, or are they focusing on Putin’s threats against Europe.

It’s as though we’re already being self censored; because if anyone else were president and a meeting like this took place, wirh such high expectations; involving Putin, and then ending in failure, they’d be calling for impeachment! Just saying!…:)

I read somewhere that there were 4 strikes on the boat--2 for the occupants and 2 for the vessel, effectively. It's completely unclear who has seen the full video or heard the full audio, and I can't remember where I read it but I got the impression it was leaked. Is that inaccurate?

Just to use the cliché: the chain of command, like every chain everywhere, is as strong as its weakest link. It's so important that we see how this works on the open seas bc it's certain to play out in the streets as they fill with as many Nat. Guard as T. can fit and as the regime feels accountability over its shoulder. It seems like they are grabbing as much power as possible as fast as possible. And members of the armed services will be watching to see what happens if and when it comes to them. Yikes, man.

Jack, is Trump setting up a clash between Guardsmen, ICE and/or other military units and/or civilians law enforcement? Something ain't right with all these uniforms populating the same territory! I see States Rights being stomped on more every day. That is a big problem.

It is not about the drugs... it is about the oil in Venezuela that drumpf wants. Just like him wanting the rare earth minerals in Ukraine. This is not going to bode well for America and the soldiers. So much for not wanting to start a war that he told everyone when he was campaigning ....

SO much information here. Until there’s a timeline, etc. I’m not willing to do anything more to speculate among myself. 😉

But I gotta tell ya, I kinda hope all those defense attorneys have on parachutes. Would be nice for someone to display some integrity besides the 6 who’ve already spoken on this subject publicly and with no hint of remorse.

Thank you for the background! I’m still upset that someone of his stature would believe that blowing up a boat without taking evidence of the supposed narcoterrorism would in itself be the right thing to do.

This is a well researched backgrounder Jack. Exemplary military experience, and don’t they always end up putting the real brilliant ones out to testify. I wonder if this will be aired?

This coincides with what Ken Klippenssrein wrote about an hour before you. I qm very sorry for what happened to you. The back injury is one thing but the traumatic brain injury is a whole different problem. I am sorry to see Admiral Bradley let himself get into this situation at this point in his life. I am guessing there is more to this than just making a horrific mistake at this stage of his career. There was something about a family suing over these murders for a father that was killed in one of the first strike. They are suing the US. Thank for the in-depth explanation. My gut says this will not go well for Admiral Bradley but I hope this does not get the DOD fool off.I also wonder if the ones that actually did the firing are complicit as what I have read says anyone involved is guilty and can't just say "I was following orders" as that was where the issue of My Lai troops could not use that excuse. This is a sad situation

Wow, what a mess! Great article again, Jack! I hate to sound ignorant, but could you let me know what some of the acronyms used mean? I am totally illiterate when it comes to deciphering military speak. Thanks! 👍
