Let’s not sugarcoat it.

On July 23rd, James Comer’s GOP-led House Oversight Committee issued a subpoena to Ghislaine Maxwell.

Yes, that Ghislaine Maxwell…the convicted sex trafficker… Epstein’s infamous accomplice…the keeper of names…black books…and secrets powerful men around the world have killed to protect.

She’s set to be deposed August 11 at FCI Tallahassee…the Florida federal prison where she’s currently serving a 20-year sentence.

But let me ask you something:

Is this really about getting answers?
Or is this about burying the truth so deep, it never claws its way back to daylight?

Because just weeks earlier, the Wall Street Journal dropped a bombshell:

“The DOJ warned Donald Trump back in May that his name appears in the Epstein files.”

And now…suddenly…Comer wants to haul Ghislaine out for questioning?

Forgive the skepticism. But I smell a dirty trick here. And I’m betting you do too.

The Players: Who’s Running This Spectacle?

Let’s start with the ringleader:

James Comer…Republican Congressman from Kentucky and Chairman of the House Oversight Committee.

Comer’s tenure has been defined by one thing…selective outrage.

He’s barked nonstop about Hunter Biden…made wild claims about the “Biden crime family,” and turned committee hearings into MAGA campaign rallies. But when it comes to Trump…Epstein…and the secret files? He’s been silent…until now.

Joining Comer are a roster of MAGA-heavy hitters and far-right provocateurs:

• Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA): QAnon’s elected avatar. She’s turned committee time into a personal grievance circus.

• Byron Donalds (R-FL): Rising MAGA star and potential Trump VP pick. Smooth talker…but tethered tightly to Trump’s orbit.

• Nancy Mace (R-SC): Plays moderate on TV, but votes with the far right when it counts.

• Lauren Boebert (R-CO): Controversy queen. Scandals follow her like a MAGA shadow.

Together, they form the core of Comer’s political theater troupe. They’re not there to get answers…they’re there to protect Trump…disrupt hearings…and launch viral clips for their base.

On the Democratic side, the voices for accountability include:

• Jamie Raskin (D-MD): Constitutional scholar…laser-focused on exposing corruption.

• Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY): Strategically sharp and media-savvy…knows how to get under the GOP’s skin.

• Cori Bush (D-MO): Grounded in justice…relentless in her pursuit of truth. She speaks for the voiceless and doesn’t flinch.

But here’s the kicker:

The GOP holds the gavel. They control the format, the witnesses, the leaks…and the media framing. Democrats get time…but not control. They can push…prod…and expose…but they can’t compel full transparency unless they win the narrative war in public.

And the risk? That this subpoena becomes a performance, not a reckoning.

EXPLOSION: The DOJ Confirmed What We Suspected All Along

Let’s not mince words here.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the Department of Justice confirmed to Donald J. Trump in May…May!….that his name is in the Epstein files.

This isn’t a blog rumor. This isn’t a fringe tweet. This is the Wall Street Journal, citing Justice Department sources, stating outright that:

The 45th President of the United States has been officially informed that he appears in sealed court records tied to one of the darkest sex trafficking conspiracies in modern American history.

"Trump’s name is in the files. The DOJ told him. And now they’re all scrambling to plug the leak."

Think about what that means.

The timing. The silence. The sudden pivot to subpoena Ghislaine. It’s not just fishy…it’s radioactive.

If Trump’s name was innocently included in those files…he’d be the first to crow about it. He’d demand they be released. He’d frame himself as a victim of Epstein’s circle and put himself on a pedestal as the man who knew…warned, and tried to stop it.

But instead?

Crickets. Legal threats. A House Committee scrambling to redirect the spotlight.

This isn’t just a PR problem for Trump. It’s a credibility landslide. And it’s happening while his own base is still licking wounds from the unfulfilled promises of wall-building, swamp-draining, and secret document-releasing.

That means intelligence services are watching. Foreign adversaries are watching. And survivors…and my heart goes out to them…are watching…praying someone finally takes the horror seriously.

And still…there’s silence from Trump.

No denial. No transparency. No leadership.

Which tells us everything we need to know.

The quiet from Mar-a-Lago is not just eerie. It’s strategic. It’s the sound of lawyers drafting damage control. It’s the sound of a political empire panicking over the one story they can’t meme away.

This Is the Moment to Raise Hell

Now is not the time to pull punches. Now is not the time for “both sides” equivocation or careful phrasing.

The DOJ told Trump he’s in the files. And instead of coming clean…the GOP tried to run misdirection with Ghislaine Maxwell.

It’s a magician’s trick. A bait and switch. While the rabbit disappears into the hat…they hope you don’t notice the wolves slinking out behind the curtain.

But we notice. And we remember.

And come August 11th, if Maxwell’s deposition isn’t public…if it’s redacted…silenced… or whitewashed…we will know exactly what it was:

A cover-up dressed as a committee hearing.

And we won’t let it slide.

Ever.

Believe me when I say this: I’m about to write like a man possessed.

More than usual. More than normal. More than humanly reasonable.

Because what’s unfolding right now?
It’s not just news. It’s a wildfire.
And these stories…these breakneck…spine-tingling revelations…they’re only going to multiply…metastasize…and twist into something even wilder.

But that lights a goddamn fire in my gut.
