Stubborn is a superpower right now, Lori. It is. Most people don’t lose the fight...they just get worn down...and go quiet. The fact that you refuse to go numb...is exactly what keeps this movement alive. Stay loud. Stay sharp. We need people like you in the arena...and I KNOW..that's where I'll find you!
Excerpts from the NYT article by Michael Grinbaum:
Trump Calling Reporter ‘Piggy’ Was ‘Frankness,’ White House Says
- Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, addressed for the first time a schoolyard insult that President Trump lobbed at a Bloomberg News reporter last week.
TRUMP SAYS QUIET, QUIET PIGGY:
“Last week, President Trump snapped at a journalist when she asked him about Jeffrey Epstein. “Quiet!” the president told Catherine Lucey, a reporter for Bloomberg News. “Quiet, piggy.”…
KAROLINE L DEMANDS GRATITUDE FOR THE MOST RECENT BLATHER BEING SPIT FRON HER BOSS’ MOUTH AND REFLECTING HIS UBIQUITOUS MEAN-SPIRITED, SOPHOMORIC DOLTISHNESS:
“…“I think everyone in this room should appreciate the frankness and the openness that you get from President Trump on a near-daily basis,” Ms. Leavitt told reporters during a briefing in the West Wing…”
Jack, is being told to be appreciative of abusiveness also a part of the rollout? I’ll have to do some research to learn the end of lives of the ass-wipes (such as the present political ingenue Karoline Leavitt) throughout purges in world history. I wonder how many of them contentedly spend their remaining lives surrounded by offspring and lifelong friends.
Authoritarian movements don’t just attack their enemies...they train their followers to cheer for abuse. They turn cruelty...into a virtue signal. They want people to feel gratitude for being humiliated...dominated...and talked down to...because once you accept that from a politician...you’ll accept anything.
Karoline isn’t defending policy.
She’s conditioning submission.
And here’s the ugly historical pattern:
Mouthpieces like her never get a soft landing.
Propagandists...regime PR flacks...“loyal messengers”...they get thrown in front of the firing squad of public memory...the second the regime collapses...or the second they become inconvenient.
Regimes don’t reward loyalty.
They use loyalty as disposable fuel.
Nobody remembers these people fondly.
They don’t retire as respected statesmen.
They don’t get statues.
They become punchlines…or casualties.
Karoline isn’t winning power.
She’s auditioning to be collateral damage...and you can bet you ass, Mary...I'll be in line...with my ticket...to watch that entire "episode."
How dare he? I mean seriously, how FUCKING DARE he?? And then repost the remark about hanging???!!!! The former intelligence lady, the one from Michigan told Aaron Parnas that she’s already had to get the capital police as security. I’m hearing echos of remarks about Mike Pence.
And this group of mostly former military folks were merely stating facts, reminding service members that they were trained to certain standards and that they must adhere to them.
I hope to goddess that this is addressed ASAP and by someone with the voice and the cojones to throw this MFER off balance.
You can bet I’ll be making some calls in the morning before I load up and head out to kittysit for friends.
You got my blood pressure Up, reading this one, Jack. I can see the Mushroom Cloud in the distance and I'm just sipping on my beverage and watching it happen in real time. I appreciate you, and will reStack ASAP 🙏
Ha...good. A little elevated blood pressure...is sometimes the exact signal the nervous system needs to say, “Pay attention. This matters.” We’re watching the political equivalent of a controlled detonation, Karen... in real time...and most people...are still acting like it’s fireworks.
You’re not.
You see it.
That’s why you’re here.
Sip your beverage...take in the view...but stay ready. The mushroom cloud isn’t the end…it’s the beginning of a power realignment...and the people who stay alert...right now...will be the ones shaping what comes next.
Appreciate you being in the fight...and thank you for the restack.
I will not be silenced. Again, more fuel for the fodder of my red hat nabobs. I believe it was Elise that got over 1000 threats so far. She is now under 24/7 security. I am certain it is the same for the others. They won’t be intimidated . It is pretty rich the MAGA scream day and night how the democrats push violence….really? Here in Indiana we pushed hard to stop the gerrymandering or the gerrymandering to appease orange. Our state is pretty solid blue and super majority in both houses. Our democratic leadership built a multi party coalition unifying low, middle, upper class, and rural areas to push back on the demand. The super majority could not get enough votes to pass it. T 2.0 is having a doozy of a snit fit. He has even called some of our state legislators out by name. They are now receiving threats and I can confirm at least 4 have been swatted. They are republicans! This unhinged, dangerous crap has got to stop! The chief terrorist wears ill fitting blue tents and orange make up. It is time to silence or mute his voice. Thanks Jack for keeping us propelled!
What you just described, Jo... is exactly how real power shifts...ordinary citizens refusing to be intimidated...refusing to sit down...and refusing to let threats dictate what happens next.
That’s the part these people never understand: fear works until it doesn’t. Once the public stops flinching...the bully loses leverage.
And you’re right...it's rich watching a movement that literally weaponizes harassment and political intimidation scream about “Democrat violence.”
It’s projection from top to bottom. They need the narrative of victimhood to justify aggression.
The fact that Indiana pushed back successfully...and forced a super-majority to retreat...is HUGE. That’s not symbolic. That’s structural power...being denied.
And the swatting...threats...and tantrums tell you exactly how rattled they are.
This isn’t chaos...it’s backlash.
And movements that rely on intimidation eventually collapse when people stop being scared of them.
Keep showing up. Keep speaking. Keep organizing across class and geography like you described...that’s how you beat both the ideology and the mob that enforces it.
*solid red- I typed blue up there. Nope. Solid red with red super majorities.
It does show if you build a coalition and solidarity, right leader for the job and push together, a difference can be made. I am hoping we move more blue here. When I was younger, it was. Last election was appx. 45%-55%. So not bad, but to only have 2 democrats in house representation doesn’t make sense. We shall endeavor.
I tried to watch Leavitt’s responses to the piggy thing, and of course the call to hang our veterans. It was truly sickening, almost more than the actual events. But not. It just called to mind the words of Douglas Adams, (who always cheers me up whether through his works or just comments) “When the revolution came, they *were* the first ones up against the wall”.
If I may add a plug, y’all should check out the stuff put out by “CFH Unfiltered”. He’s in DC now, and just posted a clip of him walking down a corridor and being “politely” followed (and warned. Politely) by Capitol police about not starting anything, basically. I think his name is Cory, apologies if it’s not, or he wishes a layer) but subtitled as “former sniper” which should command immediate respect. These guys know shit, maybe not as much as Jack, but I hope he meets up with Jolly while he’s there.
Yeah, Randy....the reactions from people like Leavitt...are often worse than the original offense...not because they’re more shocking...but...because they show how cruelty is being normalized...justified...and packaged as leadership.
That’s how regimes harden: they don’t just do the thing...they train the public to feel good about the thing being done.
The Douglas Adams line is darkly appropriate because historically...the loudest loyalists rarely end up protected by the regime they’re defending.
They’re useful...until they’re not.
And thanks for the CFH Unfiltered recommendation...I'll check him out. Anyone with real-world experience...especially in conflict zones...or national security...tends to see the warning signs...long before average civilians do.
The people who’ve worn the uniform...recognize escalation patterns faster than pundits... EVER will.
I appreciate you being here, Randy. Stay sharp... and keep the signal amplified!
Thanks as always, Jack. Don’t know if you’ve seen “It’s Luke’s Las Brain Cell”, I know nothing much except he has a… unique way of challenging the status. Love to see some of the more, um.. underappreciated talent and power here get together sometime.
Our group of people who stand against the tyrant tRump are stronger than ever. We are resisting the noise and calling out and defending our first amendment rights to protest and speak out against hanging anyone. Live free or die. We will never give in to a King.
Exactly...John!! This isn’t a weak...fractured minority. It’s a growing coalition...of people who refuse to bow to a wannabe king...or let threats and intimidation dictate what we’re allowed to say...protest...or fight for.
The louder the regime gets...the more dangerous they expect us to feel...and the more disciplined and unified we have to become.
The First Amendment isn’t just a right...it’s a pressure valve. The fact that we’re using it...loudly..publicly, unapologetically...is a sign of strength, not rebellion.
Authoritarians rely on silence.
They rely on isolation.
They rely on a population too scared...or exhausted to speak.
What they’re running into now...is a wall of people...who simply will not bend.
“Live free or die” isn’t a mantra....it’s a boundary line.
And you’re right: there will be NO king here.
Not now.
Not again.
NOT on our watch.
Stay loud. Stay organized. Stay ungovernable to tyrants, John!
After Stephen Miller's rant on Fox News I needed this to regain my center of gravity. I realize Miller is completely helpless without his diet of live bats and spewing "insurrection" out of his mouth, but explain to me why he, as White House deputy chief of staff, has the authority to even pretend to reply to six experienced, brave veterans of various posts of our country. Patriotism is something that Trump, Miller, and the rest of the accusers of these patriots should be escorted out of this world. Sorry for the rant, Jack and everybody, but that seems to be what I'm doing lately. Thanks, Jack, for your dedication.
Thanks, Jack. Sharing with people I know who have been afraid to criticize this administration. I’m outraged. I love my Representative Chrissy Houlahan, and I’m so damn proud of her for taking this stand. I want her to be safe, but at the same time, I’m proud of her for speaking out.
Jack, I've got to say that today, I'm feeling that a lot of people who have remained on the sidelines are starting to wake up. I saw an interview with Mark Kelly today and detected the total disgust in his face. I'm think a lot of people are now feeling that way. Put the immigration cruelty with this Epstein shit together with Trump threatening honorable members of the military, and the dam is fixing to break. I've made this point a lot today. I feel like the the army is finally getting tired of Caligula.
Thanks Jack! I needed something to hold onto after Trump's outburst ...
YOU...are most welcome, CLF!
-Jack
You can call me Constance if you like …
I refuse to be quiet or become numb to the BS coming from this regime. It’s a good thing I’m stubborn.

Thank you Jack. Who knew that I have a superpower?
Good post, Jack.
