The Trump Report: Trump’s Chaos & Pritzker’s 2028 Playbook
The Jack Hopkins Now Newsletter #316
This issue of the Jack Hopkins Now Newsletter is a combined report/list.
The first half is the usual Trump Report that I send out. The second half…is a list of 10 reasons I am more and more excited about what Governor J.B. Prtizker brings to the table, and why I think he would be a great person to run in 2028.
(Yes..that’s a leap of faith…I know. We can’t rightly assume we will have a free and fair election…or even an election in 2028. Not with Trump in office.)
Okay, first…here are the highlights in the Trump Report for the last thirty-six hours.

(I usually don’t add commentary to the facts listed in the Trump Report. However, I can move on without saying: Leave it to Trump’s tacky ass to f*ck up the White House appearance.)

10 Reasons I Like Gov. JB Pritzker for America’s 2028 Leader:
Proven Executive Leadership:
As Illinois’ governor since 2019, Pritzker has overseen a $45 billion COVID-19 relief effort, coordinated large-scale vaccination campaigns, and navigated unprecedented public-health and budgetary crises…demonstrating he can steer the nation through tough times.
Fiscal Responsibility & Innovation:
He balanced multi-billion-dollar deficits without resorting to across-the-board cuts by modernizing tax structures, closing loopholes, and growing revenue…showing he can deliver both stewardship and strategic investment.
Economic Growth & Job Creation:
Under his watch, Illinois added over 150,000 net new jobs (pre-pandemic), attracted major corporate relocations, and backed small-business grants…proving he knows how to stimulate growth in diverse economies.
Commitment to Education:
Pritzker increased K–12 funding by more than $1 billion annually, expanded early-childhood programs, and championed debt-relief for recent grads…reflecting a deep investment in America’s workforce pipeline.
Championing Healthcare Access:
He capped insulin costs at $35/month, expanded Medicaid, and protected reproductive rights…illustrating a track record of lowering costs and broadening coverage for millions.
Climate & Infrastructure Vision:
Pritzker launched Illinois’ first-ever clean-energy plan targeting 100% carbon-free power by 2050 and has invested billions in roads…bridges…and broadband…showing he can marry green goals with concrete infrastructure upgrades.
Bipartisan Problem-Solving:
He’s passed landmark legislation with divided legislatures…legalizing cannabis, criminal-justice reform, and ethics transparency laws…proving he can build coalitions across aisles.
Authentic Midwestern Roots:
Born and raised in Chicago with a history of Midwest philanthropy, he connects with both urban and rural communities…a unifying profile in an era of deep coastal vs. heartland divides.
Robust Fundraising & National Network:
A successful entrepreneur and venture capitalist turned governor…Pritzker commands both the personal resources and donor network to mount a competitive national campaign from Day 1.
Next-Generation Vision:
At 60 in 2028, he represents a bridge generation…combining seasoned experience with fresh ideas on technology…equity…and global engagement…positioning him to lead America into the next decade.
Okay, my friend. That’s it for this dual, Trump Report/Prtitzker Highlights lists.
I’ll be back later this evening with a hard-hitting look at the Dark Psychology of the Trump administration.
Best,
Jack
And Gov. Pritzker holds nothing back when he calls out this corrupt and evil regime
I have to say, in America in seems such a rare thing to see white males and those who are leaders no less, professing these kind of leadership ideas and values. I'm so used to white male republicans and their toxic masculinity-based visions of a polity and a world order. There are also a number of white male Dem pols in congress, veterans who more than showed their bravery and courage with multiple tours of duty in very tough military outfits. They don't need to prove how tough and macho they are like these other assholes, whose performative bs always backfires and shows me what untrustworthy idiots they are.
