Joseph, you’re tapping into something a lot of people feel right now...that instability at the top of powerful institutions is deeply unsettling.
That instinct to scrutinize leadership, especially when it involves national security...is healthy. You’re paying attention to power dynamics...and that matters...a lot.
Agree 100% with Joseph! My question for Jack is, as we're looking at all this with eyes of scrutiny, what's the next step, when that one thing that crosses all our lines (and there will be at least one, if not multiple line crossings), what's our next step(s)? While avoiding panic is crucial, I sometimes feel that we're waiting on things to the point where we will never be able to react when we feel it's worthy to. If we're told to "go," only to find we're chained to the starting gates, then that does no one any good at all! I'm sometimes impatient and always brass-tacks blunt, so maybe it's just me.
TimE, you’re asking the right question...and your “chained to the starting gates” metaphor nails the risk of passive waiting.
The move isn’t panic. It’s positioned readiness: decide your personal red lines now...and pre-map what you’ll do for each one (who you contact, where you show up, what you support). Calm isn’t complacency...it’s preparation.
*Know who your local officials are.
*Know which institutions still function.
*Know which levers actually exist.
*Build relationships before you need them.
*Decide what actions you personally are willing to take...and which you aren’t.
When a line is crossed...you don’t want to be inventing your response emotionally in that moment. You want it already mapped. That, alone...does wonders for calm and smart, accurate decisions.
Purging of the JAG’s bothered me a lot. What you’ve laid out resonates in a huge way.
My question is how does the average civilian keep up with all the stuff that’s happening quietly in the military? I suspect there’s no way to fight it if we find out?? There's so much info flooding the zone that just keeping up with what is happening at a superficial level can be challenging on a good day, let alone attempting to penetrate the military piece.
Given what you’ve outlined and the fact that we have the ppl at the helm that we do….. well, to say it’s concerning is definitely an understatement. I’m not panicking by any stretch of the imagination but I am not even remotely comfortable, either!
Thanks, Jack! You’re giving us very valuable information.
All the half cracked nuts are trying to sign up with ICE. More money. Less structure.
Who is signing up for our military? That would also be a barometer on where we stand, I think. A sign at,the bank was for Air Force Recruitment. 150 career paths. Not sure if strafing American citizens was included in their list.
We are in for a wild ride i believe. When you see the military and attacking citizen and then the Epstein horror unfolding...It is hard to keep all the plates in the air to focus. My wish that Epstein fallout lands like a nuclear bomb and blows this whole regime out of the water..
Thanks Jack, I have had real concern about the eroding of reasonable voices at the Pentagon. It is a shocking situation to have someone as unqualified as Hegseth at the helm. The idea that we have rapid response for civil "uprisings" and how this administration has tried to paint the peaceful protests as something that needs rapid mobilization is terrifying.
I appreciate the calm you write about. Know what levers are available and how to access them is great advice. #Holdfast
I complete immature child is running the most powerful military in the world. This has to Putin’s dream. He also has his puppet the orange 🍊 man.🤬🤬🤬
