Three positives yesterday: the opening of the Barack Obama center in Chicago; the Knicks ticker tape parade and celebration of joy in New York...and videos of the lid of that fuel storage blowing sky high like an errant frisbee in Moscow...
I have written a novel entitled "A Quarter Past One" published by Dorrance publishing. It encapsulates almost everything Jack talks about including what can be accomplished when people stop being intimidated and start taking action.
A key point is making what comes next better and more resilient than what we have now. Vince Lombardi said it eloquently when he said "Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence." It's all about the chase. And the chase is what keeps us from being overwhelmed.
Reading this helped me realize a lot of things on many fronts in my personal life. I appreciate your though provoking articles and your articulation of pattern recognition throughout history as well as the incorporation of how these ideas/perceptions have an effect on us physiologically. This was a great reminder of personal thought control and perception correction.
It is always good when the "myth" of invincibility starts to crack. Citizens of Russia are waking up to war that is now in the heart of their country. Propaganda can't hide the billowing black smoke, fuel supply interruptions, and airport closures. The myth of Trump is also cracking. Continued pressure on our legislators, and courts by "we the people" will help widen the cracks until it crumbles. It is also time to help educate and share resources to help insure that all eligible voters are able to cast their vote! #Holdfast
I remember how fast the Berlin wall fell. I remember the joy. The Epstien files must come out, one way or another. Indeed, cracks are appearing here and there. Thank you, Jack. I am so glad to be your subscriber. I feel balanced, in whirlwind times. Readers, if you have not already, I recommend Jack Hopkins in your daily email accounts. Clarity is a gift you give yourself.
Cracks in the armor. I have often thought that Putin had dirt on many US politicians from his KGB days/expertise. Does that get passed on to the next person, or will that go when he does? One of our friends was married to a Russian emigre who said her family there loved Putin because of the "strong man" image. What do they look for now? Time will tell, but cracks in the armor are most welcome. #HoldingFast
Great comment on the Moscow hit by Ukraine yesterday. They are definitely planning more. We could take some pointers from the integrity and determination that Ukrainians have.
The modern day version of the castle keep is anonymity. It is no longer an inert non-porous enclosure. It has active articulating components that have turned it into an offensive mind fuckery weapon. It intentionally cracks itself open to elicit a mass orgasm of hope and then slams it shut at the magic moment. Hope is now weaponized.
My hope and expectation is that the attacks on Moscow will continue. The Ukrainians have done an amazing job modernizing their weapons and strategy. This Moscow attack is something they've been working toward. They have crossed that Rubicon and now have the capacity to hit targets in Moscow and in other parts of the Russian heartland. I'd love to see them hit Putin's palace on the Black Sea coast near the resort town of Gelendzhik in Krasnodar Krai. 44.419° N, 38.205° E (or 44°25'09" N, 38°12'19" E

We need to point out what wasn't targeted by Ukraine: Homes, hospitals, schools.

“Dust in the wind. All we are is dust in the wind.”
Applies to Putin, Trump, et al.
Let's hope it lights a fire under some of our gutless politicians. Where is America in all this?

Wah hell, just this morning a news article about hundreds of names in Peter Thiel's Secret Society being leaked. I won't bother grabbing a towel.
