Strongmen don’t waste crises.

Strongmen throughout history use this exact rhetorical tool to justify:

normalization of suspicion
It sounds simple…because it is meant to.

Permanent. Pause.

Then…the killer move:
Step 4: Identity
“You’re a patriot if you support this crackdown.
You’re an enemy if you question it.”
That’s the psychological lock-in.
That’s how he creates not just followers…but believers.
Believers…behave differently.
They tolerate things citizens…never would.
THE HUMAN PSYCHOLOGY OF THE PLAYBOOK
