1. Marines Don’t Deploy for “Maybe”

Let’s start with something simple that rarely gets said out loud:

You don’t move Marine Expeditionary Units around the globe just to “keep options open.”

That’s the official line, of course.

You’ll hear phrases like:

• “defensive posture”

• “contingency planning”

But here’s the truth:

Marines are not a symbolic force. They are a decisive force.

They are trained for one thing above all else…rapid, violent, amphibious entry into contested territory.

And…right now, they are being positioned around the Strait of Hormuz…one of the most strategically critical choke points on Earth.

That’s not random.
