Eisenhower coined a term “The Military Industrial Complex,” in his belief that the defense contractors had too much influence in our governmental policy…and over 60 years later, they still do!

I was under the impression that “insider trading” was a crime, but it seems to be happening hot and heavy throughout this entire regime, and their family members…and we are still, as Dylan wrote, “pawns in their game!” I’ve had enough!

Christie..you just connected two of the most important dots in this entire conversation.

Eisenhower didn't just coin a phrase. He issued a WARNING. A five-star general who understood military power from the inside out...and...he spent his farewell address telling us exactly what would happen if we let defense contractors get too close to war decisions.

That was 1961. No one listened.

On the insider trading point... you're right to be furious.

The STOCK Act was supposed to stop this. But...it doesn't ban the trades. It just requires DISCLOSURE...up to 45 days later. By which time the money...is ALREADY made...and the news cycle has moved on. It was designed to LOOK like a solution...while changing almost nothing.

Dylan wrote "pawns in their game" in 1963. Two years after Eisenhower's warning. Both men saw it coming.

The difference between then...and now? We can see the receipts in real time.

Don't let "I've had enough" become resignation. Let it become SIGNAL. You already know more than 90% of people scrolling right now. Use it.

Jack…no way in heck am I about to give up…this only makes me even more determined to work towards ending this regime, and working toward making certain going forward that the loopholes that enable this corruption be shut down, that those corrupt players face the consequences that they so “richly” deserve!

This is all so depressing. It would take years and years to fixbif even possible

Agreed, Bernice. I would say...at a minimum...a decade is a good place to think from...and then go from there.

It is no coincidence that MBS and Bibi met at the WH prior to initiating this horrific attack on Iran, warranted or not, and without congressional approval or authorization. Thank you Jack. Steady as we go.

It seems to me we were warned about the"Military Industrial Complex" by the last Republican President who really wasn't a crook. Ironic isn't it?

Understand the stock connection, but curiously N-G retirees got a reduction in Jan. No explanation.
