But I also remember thinking this would open the floodgates of foreign influence in our social media. Then you see X turning on location services and then turning it off again when it showed the foreign influencers. Yeah, it’s already happening.
It was obvious, the day they dismantled the anti-disinfo defences, that there would be NOTHING to stop disinformation running rampant. And not only that from Russia, but every actor who wants to see the demise of democracy in the US. They’re doing a helluva job ☠️
We are being played by foreign disinformation. How do we sound the alarm and tell people. As I have been warning of tRump and Tusi Gabard allowing Russia to guide tRump during 2016 election debate where tRump asked Russia if you are out there find server files. tRump has been working and still working to Russia and Putin to gain access to control the disinformation narrative to stay in power.
One of the attractive features of your writing this Substack is that is IS multi-layered. I was seven when my dad joined the State Dept. under Point Four, which evolved into USAID. I almost can't recall a time when I didn't differentiate between dinner table/private info and layers of people to whom I was polite, and by the time I was 17, people whose casual conversations at an Embassy pool party needed to be reported to a political officer. I knew about the radio with the wire up the drain pipe to alert our Embassy, armed Marine Guard picked us up from school and drove thru a riot in Amman. My Dad got shot at more than once [outside of DDay] in USAID. He was part of a vanguard that few knew was there, one that did worlds of good and that this regime crushed. But even my extended family never understood the strategic value of soft, or sub rosa power. I think most of my friends while educated don't see much of life as having anything to do with world politics. I worked my first pol campaign in college, had a pass to UN meetings through a consulate, and some exciting summers - I could never turn my back on that. Which is why I read you [and we're probably Hopkins related]. There's stuff I wish wasn't happening and some Congressional malfeasance I didn't expect, but with dismissal or ignoring select judicial decisions, I'm not hopeful at the moment. I appreciate your beacon of strength.
All of this canceling of security is a clear indication that aligns with muskrat showing where all the BOTS on X are form foreign countries. Can't make this shit up that's for sure. I had read parts of what you just wrote on several different substack pages. One that I like is Dean Blundell from Canada. He has several different good people on his videos. One is a former Danish intelligence person for over 15 years that is helping the people i Ukraine. Now about that picture...Lining in Florida especially west central on the coast we have only had snow 3 x's in my 74 years. Never enough to grab picture like that. It needs to be enlarged and hung on a wall in a home. Absolutely gorgeous...

Truth beneath the cold late fall Moonlight does curl the blood in so many ways. While I have many friends and relatives from WWII through most recent conflicts, who have passed and survived, bewilderment beyond belief would set in. Steady as we move forward. Thank you Jack.

and
a rating of 10 indicates our democracy is dying an unpreventable death
