Back in the dark ages of the 1970s, I worked for a finance guy and found out he was a crook as were many of his clients. I quit and called the FBI. Eight years later they showed up at my office and said what I had told them in 1976 was inadmissible but if they could use my name they thought they could get the ex boss to turn state's evidence. I said of course. A year later I was subpoenaed to testify in Las Vegas. Yeah, those guys. The ex boss turned so I didn't have to testify.
About a year later bombs started going off in Salt Lake. First killed the ex boss's partner. The second killed the ex boss's wife.
It turned out that it was (allegedly) unrelated even though the same people were involved. The third bomb went off on the Thursday injuring the bomber who turned out to be a forger of world renown, selling his work to the highest bidder.
On that day, the head of the FBI office in Salt Lake called me. He said you have gone through Hell not knowing if you were next and "I think," he said, "you deserve to know the truth." But he couldn't tell me what really went on. Instead he said, from this moment forward, do not believe anything you are told, see, or hear about this case. And he hung up. Then the news hit, books were written, the bomber went to prison. The ex boss remarried a few months later and I guess lived happily ever after.
So, I have not one iota of doubt that the Epstein saga will be buried deep. It is how the game is played.
I have always believed that there were probably intelligence agencies involved in all this. This was too large of an operation, going on too long to think it was just two people running it. Where did the initial money come from to set the entire thing up? Most people think of spying like a James Bond movie. No, it’s more like a John La Carré novel. I agree with your analysis and the odds of the entire awful affair being completely exposed.
Exactly, Linn. Most people...still imagine intelligence work as James Bond; slick...loud...cinematic.
In the real world...it’s pure John le Carré: slow...layered...compartmentalized...and built on long-term leverage.
And you’re asking the question almost no one ever stops to ask:
Where did the seed money and protection come from?
Because...you don’t build a decades-long...multi-country operation...complete with shell foundations...foreign travel...protected assets...and high-value access...with “just two people.” That’s not how these ecosystems work.
In intelligence...you don’t always need to run something.
Sometimes you just let it run…because it serves a purpose.
And that’s why...your conclusion is dead-on: the sheer scale and the longevity...alone.. make a full...public unmasking...a fantasy.
The structure behind it is designed to stay buried.
I’ve always believed that integrity is what one does when nobody is watching - it seems our culture, our society , our government decided that powerful men sacrificing vulnerable young girls was okay as long as the secret was kept. No integrity . Very powerful people who make important decisions that affect all of us- have no integrity, can’t be trusted to do what is right. Using vulnerable young girls is the height of despicable behavior. It is frightening that this kind of evil exists. I am sickened by it all
Integrity is what you do...when no one is watching...and too many powerful people were counting...on no one ever watching.
What makes the Epstein saga so disturbing...isn’t only the crimes...but the institutional indifference...the quiet decision...that certain men were too connected...too valuable...too protected to hold accountable.
And when that happens...integrity disappears instantly.
You’re right: this wasn’t a “bad actor” problem.
It was a culture of looking the other way...while vulnerable girls were exploited.
Your disgust...is exactly what the system fears.
Because if the full truth ever surfaced...the public would see what you’re seeing clearly:
the real evil isn’t just the acts...it’s the structure that protected them.
Jack, did you read the report that Pam Bondi confided and revealed that there are MANY videos of children being sexually abused in those files? I think I saw it yesterday. I had a lot of company over the weekend and they are 100% Trump supporters (and also my family) so I stayed away from politics for the most part, but did see that blurb. I just remember it was from a legitimate news source and it was at a dinner. Curious of your thoughts. I appreciate your explanations, my gut tells me what you are articulating is accurate and I eagerly await your next article! Thanks for all you do!
I did see that claim floating around , Michele...and I shared a section of the Daily Beast article...yesterday.
Now...I must say...I haven’t seen any confirmed reporting from major outlets showing Pam Bondi actually said this...and definitely nothing verifying the existence of that kind of material in the Epstein files.
BUT...we are not in the same realm we are used to regarding the media. Certainly not with anything regarding the Epstein material. So, I do NOT rule a story out...just because the major media folks aren't covering it. Not at all.
The report you mention...is the kind of explosive statement that spreads fast even without sourcing...especially around a case as charged as this one.
On some issues...and in a different era...that would have bothered me. Now...with Epstein? It does not. It's simply something for me to watch closely...and follow the bread crumbs on.
And...I point out to some people...just because we get an explosive article...with limited information...from a non-major media company...it doesn’t mean there isn’t more in the tank...waiting for the right moment.
Sure...when a claim this serious has no transcript...no audio...no video...and no mainstream confirmation...it’s something to treat with caution...but I would never ignore it. Not now. Not on this.
And honestly...this is exactly the kind of rumor that emerges when there are big...internal power struggles...happening behind the scenes: emotional..attention-grabbing...and ...at least for a time period...unverifiable.
Your gut is right, though...the structure I’ve been describing...explains why so many rumors...leaks...and half-truths circulate around this case.
The secrecy creates a vacuum.
The next article will get into that architecture even more. Thank you for sticking with it... more is coming. (And...coming very soon.)
Thanks Jack! In my heart of hearts I was hoping it wasn’t that grotesque, but every cell in my body screams it is even worse than .i can imagine. Eagerly waiting for your next drop. Stay safe, we need you!
Look into Whitney Webb's reporting on Epstein on her website Unlimited Hangout. Hoovers name comes up, I think slightly adjacent to Roy Cohn's network. He may have been running a surveillance/blackmail operation ala Epstein, only on a much smaller scale. And of course, Cohn was one of Trump's early mentors.
I'm not so sure about Bohemian Grove, whether that's just a rumor or not. However, there was North Fox Island, the Franklin Scandal, some adjacency to the molestation scandal with the Boy Scouts of America, Jimmy Savile in UK, P Diddy, many more. All parts of a huge network of pedophilia and sextortion, among other things, and a lot of it with roots in early organized crime syndicates like Meyer Lansky's. Coverups involving big money, corrupt politicians and CEOs and on and on.
You're not reading the right Substacks. I have posted an exhaustive list of sources, including many investigative journalists on SS, elsewhere in this comments section.
Regarding section 2, #6, at what point does our own chief executive become “dangerous” vs useful? How would that change the outcome? Would you consider this a possibility in lieu of the recent level of graft, contempt, war crimes- etc.
Jack it’s a great piece and I look forward to the paid subscriber drop. It’s easy to say I’m not surprised but I’m not.. not even a little bit. I’m sure you know there are others who are delving deeply into this. At least one that I follow who has earned the trust of some survivors. I’ve read every serious piece I could get my hands on and have come to the conclusion… without anyone whispering in my ear… that this thing is so much bigger than most of the public thinks it is. You covered it so there’s no need for me to repeat it but I agree with you. The likelihood that we ever see ALL OF IT.. is near ZERO. There’s too much at stake and the people who want it kept secret are far too powerful. I’ve been saying it for a while now. Not publicly because no one would’ve believed me anyway… but to people I’m close to and who I trust. I’ve forwarded them what I’ve read and they mainly agree. There are worldwide financial institutions involved.. like you said… several foreign governments and it’s bipartisan. We won’t see it and my deepest regret knowing that is that the survivors may never find justice. Maybe some new names come out… maybe not. The survivors who have some of those names have been threatened and they know the threats are real. I wonder if there is even a single survivor who has documentation of the entire operation? Honestly, I wouldn’t think so but I could be wrong. Releasing it, if anyone has it, would be incredibly dangerous. Anyway, having my fears that the entire operation never sees the light of day confirmed is disappointing… devastating even but I’m sure it’s true. Thank you for your insight and I await the follow-up piece. Stay safe Jack. You’re delving into things that powerful people want kept secret and that’s dangerous.
You’re reading the situation the way insiders do, Susan...not through rumor...but through structure. When something touches foreign governments...global finance... intelligence services...and both U.S. parties...it stops being a “case” and becomes infrastructure.
And infrastructure doesn’t get exposed. It gets protected.
That’s why you’re right: the odds of the full archive ever seeing daylight...are near zero.
Not because of a cartoon conspiracy...but because the people with the most to lose... are the ones holding the keys.
And yes...survivors are the only reason anything surfaced at all. If agencies... governments...and institutions had their way...this would still be sealed in concrete.
Do survivors have the entire blueprint? Almost certainly not...systems this big never put everything in one place. That’s how they control fallout.
And I appreciate the concern. You're not wrong. Writing the truth in a calm...structural way...is my priority...and being aware is right there with.
The paid piece...out in just a bit... goes into the next layer...the part that explains why the machine is tightening now...and what it signals...for the months ahead.
I read a piece and I am not sure if it was one of yours but I do not think it was about this whole Epstein thing being international and including big banks laundering money and high ranking people in other countries and other things that would shock a lot of people... I twas very eye opening and I am sure that is why th files were not released in full...too much collateral damage even though it is not fair to the victims. They need validation for what they have survived,,I also wonder about what really drove Virginia to commit suicide
As Jack said, it's not the list of names (which would be bad enough) but the depth and breadth of the network of influence, money, and blackmail ... and it's an ongoing enterprise!
Couple of questions or thoughts.. Can’t let this go enough to sleep yet and my very intriguing fiction novel isn’t distracting me..
1). This isn’t the first administration that could have shined light on this but chose not to for all the reasons you stated, right?
2). Do you see any possibility that the victims/survivors see any justice for all they suffered at this point? I just can’t see it and that’s going to keep me up nights.
In case they tear it apart here it is for everyone to read

U.S. Withdrawal From Afghanistan (look online 12 pages)
This document outlines the key decisions and challenges surrounding the U.S.withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Page 10 of 12 1st Sentence
“During the evacuation, approximately 70,000 vulnerable Afghans were evacuated by the U.S. Government to overseas Defense Department facilities for security screening, vetting and the administration of public health vaccinations.”
So now we know we live in a world where everyone is corrupt (Governments, Corporations, Financial Institutions, countries, etc) So we will now assume, even the innocent are corrupt. Maybe a collapse and rebuilding from ashes is the only way out.
I hear you, Charli....when you look at cases like this...it’s easy to feel like the whole world is rotten.
But...and fortunately... the picture isn’t “everyone is corrupt.” It’s that the systems at the top...have incentives that protect themselves...even when individuals inside them...aren’t bad people.
I know...that can be hard to get your head around...at first.
Most people working in government...law enforcement...journalism...and finance are not corrupt...they’re just stuck inside structures that reward silence...punish honesty...and bury anything that threatens the institution. (Again...initially hard to process...I know)
It’s not the innocent who are corrupt.
It’s the architecture...that bends everything toward self-preservation.
And collapse isn’t the answer.
History shows that collapse hurts ordinary people...far more than it hurts the powerful.
So...the goal isn’t to burn it down (even though that can certainly feel like THE best solution...no doubt) it’s to understand how the machinery works...so it can be pressured...challenged...and forced into accountability.
What you’re feeling is exactly what these systems are terrified of:
The public recognizing the pattern.
Awareness is the beginning of change...not destruction.
Your mind is intensely focused, Charli. I like that!
Your take is so spot on. Imagine the headlines: Epstein plucked Thai street children, boys for delivery to Saudi Arabia because they were disposable and no one would miss them. Girls because everyone else. Money was cleaned through the Vatican. African rulers sold out their constituents to the diamond lords for their own gains, setting up all the warring factions. Boko Harem stole children for sale to the highest bidders. The pee tape was real. Putin loves torture/death sex. Beyond the sex with children and Deutsche Bank orchestrating regime changes it is even worse that the global population can imagine.
Thanks, Jack. Ever since I read the first Newsweek cover article in 1987, Trump gave me the creeps. As the years passed and his life was carried out on The National Inquirer front pages it grew. The adultery, the divorces, bankruptcies, pageants and the FL real estate deal where he screwed over Epstein to launder Rubles-I couldn’t believe people actually watched The Apprentice and LIKED him. After the first Epstein case, I’m sure I’m not the only sexual assault survivor said, “There’s so much more.” When Epstein was arrested and jailed under the Trump regime, I figured his murder was only a matter of time.
Kompromat, Daddy Maxwell choosing him to be his new Mossad boy and I come that came from out of the air made it clear this was bigger than a backyard boys club.
The paid follow up has me scratching my head like Nancy Drew trying to figure out who the One Name is!
"Most people think “the list” is one document in a dusty folder.
Wrong. The Epstein files are a network. A multi-government…intelligence…booby trap."

NOW, if you want your mind well and truly blown, look up a Reddit user called backcountrydrifter. Links to his comments are only available through a Google search. He was a prolific commenter up until the election last year when he completely disappeared. The things he talks about sound absolutely wild but again, you're supposed to be completely incredulous. THAT is the con. A very, very long game. He links news articles that corroborate a lot of his claims. A lot of the links I just posted skirt the edges of it.
1: Wouldn't a claim of "national security" to redact the files just be absolute confirmation that they contain explosive facts about important people that are being covered up? How can they possibly _justify_ how the Epstein scandal could impact national security?
2: Scenario: someone rich and connected could bribe and protect a whistle-blower in order to burn everything down and rule the ashes.
It has seemed to me that something this big couldn't be the work of anything other than very sophisticated people with long-term planning and goals. These were not ordinary crooks. They used ordinary crooks, but there were/are masterminds behind it. I think the plan is too grandiose to be believed by ordinary people. And all Trump’s drama is a smokescreen.
Sue
Sue…your story is one of the clearest...real-world examples of how the system actually operates...when something threatens powerful interests.
You saw it firsthand:
*evidence becomes “inadmissible”
*timelines stretch for years
*people flip...people disappear
*narratives get rewritten
*and agents can only hint at the truth, never say it directly
That FBI line:
“Do not believe anything you are told, see, or hear about this case”...
is exactly how institutional self-protection sounds in the real world.
And that’s why your conclusion about Epstein...is dead-on.
Not because the situations are identical…
but because the structure is.
When a story threatens institutions...not individuals...the system doesn’t seek truth...
it seeks containment.
Your experience proves it.
Thanks for you personal story, Sue!
-Jack
You are so right, Sue! Big stakes players involve big stakes consequences! Glad you survived!
I added in a set of quote marks to clarify it was the FBI head that was speaking.

Regarding section 2, #6, at what point does our own chief executive become “dangerous” vs useful? How would that change the outcome? Would you consider this a possibility in lieu of the recent level of graft, contempt, war crimes- etc.
Great question, KPez...because this is EXACTLY how insiders think.
A chief executive becomes “dangerous” the moment he threatens the system more than he serves it. When a leader becomes:
*unpredictable
*unmanageable
*publicly radioactive
*or a risk to people above and around him
…the machinery stops viewing him as an asset...and starts seeing him as a liability.
And yes...given the graft...contempt for institutions...and international blowback we’re watching...that shift is absolutely possible.
When insiders stop asking “How do we protect him?” and start asking “How do we protect ourselves?”
that’s when outcomes change...FAST
And that’s the dynamic I’m unpacking in the paid piece.(Hitting your inbox shortly)

I worked for a federal judge and I can tell you that people WOULD NOT BELIEVE what happens behind the black robes of "justice."
You, Sir, are PRICELESS!
Kimberly...you’re tapping into the part most people never want to look at: the structure behind all of this! (I'm ALL about structure and patterns)
You don’t need every extreme headline to be true...to understand the real picture...the global exploitation pipeline...already tells you everything.
The pattern is undeniable:
*vulnerable kids treated as currency
*elites crossing borders and ideologies
*intelligence services circling the edges
*financial networks smoothing the transactions
*governments terrified of exposure...not the crime
That’s the system.
That’s why...the truth stays buried.
And that’s why...your instinct is dead-on.
This was never “one monster.”
It was a marketplace...with customers in powerful places.
And thank you for the kind words. I say the quiet part out loud because someone has to... before the people in charge bury the LAST thread of it.

RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES
"Most people think “the list” is one document in a dusty folder.
Wrong. The Epstein files are a network. A multi-government…intelligence…booby trap."
- Jack Hopkins
Zev Shalev’s articles on The Greatest Heist are a must-read, as are The Alpha and the Omega of Epstein and the Unlimited Hangout articles by Whitney Webb. Ellie Leonard is extensively covering the sex trafficking and the victims in particular.
This is all publicly available information. Every name and every thread are connected. In most cases the details of these posts and articles are corroborated by each other.

Happy Rabbit Hole Day!
Where’s our Daniel Ellsberg, our Edward Snowden
