It's because I'm VERY uncomfortable being confused about something, and I have an almost overwhelming desire to resolve that confusion with something so SIMPLE...that it would be almost impossible for me NOT to understand it.

The most chilling sentence you wrote: "But now they have their guy in Our White House."
That is a TRUTH many countries around the world accept. They no longer TRUST the United States. (And, I would add...they SHOULDN'T.)
I'll also note that, in my view, Putin has seen any intelligence he requested...that Trump could provide. I believe that. I would be wary of anyone...who didn't.

I'm still sick from the Venezuelan capture, that Satan traded for Ukraine, way back @ Maduro's capture The Ukraine treason has been carefully orchestrated very continuously since Jan 2025. This is the kill shot. Expect a "ceasefire type" victory declared before the election.

Part of me will never forget that 1954 commercial on our black and white television screen. A baby was in a crib in a rather dark room at the front of the screen. Then a large dark figure kept walking toward the crib as the baby cried and cried. In large white, boldly displayed letters I could read, the name RUSSIA was placed on the screen. Then a voice said, “Russia. We will control your grandchildren.” It was not a good feeling, and it came on about my bedtime.
Later in life I have met nice people, good people, whose families were from Russia. However, all that is happening now brings that memory to mind. Back in 1954, my parents had said I did not need to worry about it.
I was in junior high school when Nikita Khrushchev pounded his shoe on a table at a meeting. There still was concern.
There was the work for peace during President John F. Kennedy’s term, and three years later, at Expo ‘67, we were told we must not buy anything from Cuba or Russia.
Now, with Putin being so cruel to Ukraine and wanting to regain all the former Russian territory anywhere, and with a power and money grabbing person here who wants to impress Putin and wants to be his buddy and a fellow ruler of the world, the person known for having said, “Everything is mine!”, this is not a comforting situation. A person cannot help but wonder how we can come through this time and especially how the good people of Ukraine can come through it.
