I already have.. both my kids vote. My eldest got all her friends signed up to vote.. she’s fierce little thing. She’s a mini pitbull.. she’s itty bitty but she carries a big damn stick..
I've confirmed my status, I am registered. I know my location and will be there with rings on my finders and bells on my toes. ICE or no ICE is the question: Every person needs to do their civic duty and vote, this is our freedom and we want it back, "We the People" will win! Vote Blue No Matter What! (when that was first mentioned months ago, I thought that was wrong). Today it is my moto! We have to stop this mad man from burning down our country, so we can start cleaning the house one day at a time.
If you live in a vote by mail state, note that you may need to go to your county election office or ballot drop off location to obtain a ballot. Since they may be overwhelmed, plan to go get a ballot as soon as they become available. And also return your ballot to a drop off location rather than mailing it. Remember that whatever the vote-restriction assholes *can do, they will. Even if they get nailed for it later. The goal is to create so much chaos and fear that people don’t vote. And then, due to the same chaos, there’s a manufactured “emergency” and
newly elected congressionnal members aren’t sworn in. Cuz “questions”. Stop them from achieving even part of that goal.
I have contacted my five with instructions for them to contact five more apiece. I have tracked my ballot since Trump's first term. Do not leave anything to chance.
I want to add that the trade war with Canada should wake everyone up. What our country tried to pull over on Canada and the fall out from that is catastrophic.
It won't be an inbox; it'll be a circular file. Last night at LWV mtg, the state board of elections director said USPS is required to deliver mail ballots even if they don't have a stamp. The county will pay the postage upon delivery. Just drop it in a box & give it enough time to get where it's going.
Already checked re mail ballot and registered for November. Instructed close friends and neighbors to do the same. Most realize how important all of this is. I have the misfortune of having Luna Paulina in my district. there is a retired female military officer running against her as a dem. We are all hoping the repug rep gets voted out.
