And it's not just money moving in the dark, Jack — two women, Guzel Ganieva and Cheri Pierson, have accused him directly of sexual assault, one alleging it happened inside Epstein's own townhouse. Black denies it all and sued his own accuser for defamation, which is the move of a man who thinks lawyers are a substitute for innocence.
His attorneys are out screaming "abomination" and "outrageous" like adjectives are a legal defense. They're not. Trump wants nothing that will put the Epstein file release back in the headlines. So I expect a quick decision, maybe a week or two, then a statement saying the evidence wasn't sufficient. The media will carry the story for one news cycle - maybe. Congress could have held Todd Balance but didn't. That's everything we need to know. I'll bet Blanche has told Trump that as long as the files stay hidden, he has nothing to worry about. The files are Trump's Kryptonite and Blanche knows it.

If I did, I’d find a way to get her one or two of those bottles she adores! This regime offers pardons for a price and pursuit of injustice for a few casks of vino.

For too many in congress, their paramount agenda is to be re-elected; this is how they spend most of their time, energy and endeavors. Lost for quite awhile now in all parties is the effort and feeling of responsibility to actually doing the work that the voters entrusted them to do. Optics (smoke and mirrors) rather than trying to accomplish something constructive for those who elected them and entrusted them to beneficially act on their behalf.
