This is very clear and concise for us to use. The trick is to get them to actually listen and comprehend. Undoing years of brainwashing is not easy. I have seen the shift mainly due to kids not having food, followed by the farmers getting a gut punch because of Argentina. This narrative should land better than it might have earlier. Thanks Jack
I hear you, Teri...getting someone to actually listen is the hardest part. You can hand people the clearest truth in the world...but if they’re still wrapped in years of conditioning... it just bounces off.
But you’re absolutely right about one thing: pain breaks propaganda. Empty lunchboxes do what fact-checks can’t. Farmers getting blindsided....does what news clips won’t.
When the consequences finally land in their own homes...the narrative loses its grip.
That’s why this moment is different.
People who were unreachable a year ago...are suddenly asking questions.
Not because they “switched sides,” but because reality...finally overpowered the story they were told.
So yes...this messaging lands now in ways it didn’t before. Your instincts are dead-on.
And thank YOU for staying in the fight...because the folks who are just waking up need exactly this kind of clarity.
About farmers, if there were an election tomorrow, they'd vote for him again. They always vote for the Republican candidate and they are always screwed over by the Republicans. There is no getting through to them. They keep their heads buried in the soil they plow.
Some would, absolutely...you’re right about that. There will always be a bloc that votes Republican...no matter how many times they get burned. That part isn’t changing.
But a growing number would not. And that shift...matters more than people realize.
You’re starting to see the cracks:
the farmers who finally got hit hard enough to question the narrative…
the ones who’ve watched promises turn into losses…
the ones whose kids are struggling…
the ones who can’t afford one more “gut punch for the team.”
We don’t need all of them to wake up.
We just need that growing slice to keep growing.
Because that’s how political coalitions shift...not with a tidal wave... with a steady leak. And right now...the leak is real.
Well written, Jack. I don't possess the temperament to deal with trump voters even with a template. Most of the ones I know voted for him in 2016 because of a character he played on a game show. They REALLY believed that celebrities were competing to work for him. That they were going to walk away from their careers.
I have no sympathy or empathy for them. None! I will leave the deprograming to someone more tolerant. At least my sanity is still intact... I think.
I hear you...and I don’t blame you one bit for feeling that way. When people you know got taken in by a TV character and then doubled down as the damage grew...it’s frustrating... exhausting...and honestly heartbreaking.
But I want to say this gently and clearly: that mindset...while completely understandable...is exactly what accelerates the end of democracy.
We can’t hold this line alone. Not only with Democrats. Not with only independents. Not with “our side” talking only to “our side.”
If we want to stop what’s happening...we’re going to need a critical mass of Republicans who are willing to break ranks and defend the country...not the man. And we can’t get there if the people who can reach them decide it isn’t worth trying.
You don’t have to convert anyone. You don’t have to debate anyone. You don’t even have to like them.
But shutting the door entirely just hands the extremists what they want...a divided...angry nation where no one talks across the line.
Your sanity matters. Your boundaries matter. But so does the fact that democracy only survives when ordinary people...even the reluctant ones... stay in the conversation.
And you’re more capable than you give yourself credit for...I know that.
Bam 💥💪 the judge is in the house today‼️ Good Job here, Jack, sock it to em' buddy, and will reStack ASAP 💯👍

Thanks, we just put one foot in front of the other

We have to try as I think now it’s about Argentina beef, that may have been a bridge too far

Thanks, Jack. I will try and if it gets too heavy, I will take my leave.
I have been obsessing over what to write- by hand- to former coworkers and neighbors. I have to at least try to communicate once.
If our constitution is toppled what happens next is unthinkable.
Thank you for this
