Jack did successfully identify the only true statement Trump made last night about trust being important. A lack of trust, create fear and fear creates inaction. It's time to resolve to stand up to the 9 year old bully and show him what real power looks like.

Having ‘worked’ voluntarily from Precinct President to attending numerous meetings county and statewide, for many years, the rules have typically been the same. Early walk in voting (a paid position), voting day (a paid position), any party could have an observer at any polling location, observer not a police officer, redistricting has narrowed down walk-in polling locations, so now (not so new) mail in ballots save costs, time, and elections officers energy in counting valid ballots.
If one takes the time to learn what should have been taught in a middle school civics class, it’s quite an easy process, and you meet your county representatives, state legislators and community members. From the State Governor to your U. S. Senators and Congressional representatives to your neighbors. A good thing. This ‘new’ idea of rigging has changed the political landscape to one of dismal despair rather than the friendly win of political prowess and privilege of knowing who will represent your interests in congress. Rigged? He/She who continues to reiterate the lie is the liar. Sound familiar? Along the lines of ‘he/she who smelt it dealt it’.
Most voters bypass the midterm elections believing it’s just not that important. Well folks this one is very important. You know why. This is what Jack is writing about. This year, especially, you are either in or you’re out. The people are counting on you to be part of the solution and timely about it.
Our ballots are being mailed next week. Phone calling is ongoing. Flood the congressional lines for your rights. Vote for your rights. Like your life depends on it, because it does. Thank you Jack for saying ‘out loud’ what many of think yet have few in our orbit to talk to. Steady as we go. Now.
P. S. We just mailed in our ballots 7/22/2026 and since we live one property we chose to properly chose to seal our ballot, sign our sealed envelope, enclose them all in a flat rate USPS envelope, properly addressed with a memo on the outside below with our names and track it.
So far, it has left the first USPS to another USPS and en route to its destination. There is a ‘Dropbox’ by the local police station, or the 80-90 mile (one way drive) walk in unacceptable drop off location, is not what we chose. Get a receipt and track it. (Flat Rate rather than return receipt for us was the economic choice). Steady as we go.
