WTAF.. the Orange Shitstain keeps grifting and another scheme for all his properties.. yeah once you see it you cannot unsee what this Orange Asshole does. Unfuckingbelieveable🤬
The maddening part is it isn't even a sophisticated grift; it's a checkbox...worth $75 damn a month. SAME checkbox they've built a federal apparatus around.
Jesus fuck!! Unbelievable.. I’m just shaking my damn head.. my property taxes for my rental property is thru the damn roof.. I’ve had that property for over decade and I had it reassessed and pestered the assessors office .. they finally did it and lowered it..grrrrrrr
Fixing to start that process. I told them last year I’d gladly accept the assessment if any one of them was willing to pay that for it. I’ll start packing right now. It’s my primary residence. She laughed, I didn’t. I also didn’t get a reduction. It’s worth even less now. I doubt they’ll reduce it but I already can’t make ends meet so I’ll keep trying. Glad they finally lowered yours.
Question sent to my District Candidate I expect to be elected to the US House and to my Senator that I also expect to be elected. We'll see if I get anything but a canned response. If that's all I get, I will be forcing the issue, using the Politico article.
That's exactly the right move...and asking BEFORE they're seated...is the smart part; it's a lot harder to dodge...when they're still ASKING you for something.
Please let me know what comes back. If you get a form letter, send it my way; a few of those side by side would make a piece on their own!
JHFC…. I shouldn’t be surprised. Of course the rules are for thee and not me in t’s world. It’s the only way he rolls.
It sure is starting to feel like a replay of Germany and Poland in the lead up to WWII. And here we are, all the people around him will NOT blunt his worst impulses. No guardrails. And now they want to turn AI loose. Time to work the steps.
Jack, yes the AI…. as a former IT geek I can say it’s just a tool and…. there is a cadre of people feeding it info that the algorithms, created by humans with potentially sketchy motives, will run against. Does not produce a warm fuzzy feeling. And the part where the agency wants to file cases instead of doing just referrals? Yikes.
Thank you bringing this stuff up and out, attempting to galvanize us all!! I am grateful for you and your work.
There is no surprise to me here as drumpf truly believes he is above the law and can do whatever he wants and take the money to keep our national parks clean and safe and staffed properly for his vanity projects when is our money he is stealing from our parks. I blame the bank for allowing this to happen. We were not there when he took out both loans and what BS he told the person and if he was dealing with the same loan officer. And as you said the the statute of limitations ran out. I worry about AI making these decisions and how it will be programmed to search for the fraud. Kinda like FLOK???? There have been a lot of articles about that here in Florida.
I know the canned response I will get from my three red hat nabobs. It’s the 3 stooges on steroids. What worries me the most is AI. That is the dangerous part of the equation. Just as the Flock is the dangerous Big Daddy watching everything you do. The local news just had a report including the man involved about the Flock. He noticed it was taking his info every time he passed. Then he noticed a cop car hanging around. Then noticed it was the same cop car. He requested records and found indication that the same cop was checking his movements regularly. He actually confronted the cop. He had no prior contact with him. Of course the cop pleaded ignorance, yet there he sat in his car where the man was. This is getting to be too much and exceedingly scary. There is no off ramp with AI and the abuses that can abound. I can extrapolate that a hard working person saves to buy their castle, goes to get the loan, and is promptly turned down. Why? Because whoever controls AI doesn’t like his look, his party affiliation , his hair color?!?
He finds ways to violate laws that I didn't even know existed. If these were accomplishments instead of crimes, he would be one of the most productive individuals who ever lived.
Jack is correct that the sequence matters more than the scandal.
File the date. December 1993, two mortgages, seven weeks apart, both marked principal residence, neither one lived in. Note which decade separates that filing from the moment it became relevant again — thirty-three years, untouched, until a standard was invented that made the old paperwork into a weapon.
Note which three Cabinet members ProPublica found holding multiple primary-residence mortgages: the Labor Secretary, the Transportation Secretary, the EPA Administrator. Three, out of a Cabinet stocked from the start with real estate and finance backgrounds — a homebuilding heir now running the agency that decides whose paperwork gets referred, a Treasury built on Wall Street tenure, a housing regulator whose own family fortune is the industry he now polices. This is not incidental. An administration drawn heavily from the finance and real estate sectors wrote a rule about finance and real estate residency, and then discovered the rule pointed backward at the room it was written in.
Historians know this pattern by its shape, not its content. A law is written for the enemy. The law is broad enough that it eventually catches its author. The author’s response is never to abandon the law — it is to build the enforcement machinery faster than anyone can ask who else the law touches. Note which came first here: the AI detection unit at Fannie Mae, built in partnership with Palantir, and a public tip line — or the oversight review, which the Government Accountability Office will not complete until late 2026 or 2027. The machine always arrives before the audit. That is not a coincidence of bureaucratic timing. That is the order in which power chooses to build things.
Jack is correct that Lisa Cook and Letitia James are the test cases, not the exceptions. One sits at the Federal Reserve with twenty-one days to answer a case the Supreme Court already let her keep her job through. The other watched a grand jury of ordinary Virginians refuse to indict her. Both were measured against the seven words posted publicly by a man whose own mortgages, examined by the same standard, would require him — in the words of the law professor who reviewed them — to fire himself or refer himself.
Note which argument survived contact with power and which one did not. The White House says the lender knew, so there was no fraud. Cook’s lawyer says the same thing, in the same words, about her own lenders. One of these defenses ended a Supreme Court case in her favor, temporarily. The other one hung up the phone rather than answer the question at all.
A rule that only travels in one direction was never a rule. It was a target list with a legal citation attached, and the citation was chosen after the target.
File the date. Note who built the machine, and note who it was built to look past.

Morgan...yeah.
The maddening part is it isn't even a sophisticated grift; it's a checkbox...worth $75 damn a month. SAME checkbox they've built a federal apparatus around.
Thanks for being here, Morgan. I mean that.

I’m pretty good at that lol
Hehehe that’s cause we’re women and I’m a Mom to 2 adult daughters ( they’re tough and stubborn too!) and soon to be Grandma

Thank you, Jack.
Deb...the AI unit is the part that concerns me most; that machinery outlasts WHOEVER built it...and the next crowd...inherits it too.
Thanks for reading, Deb...and...for actually working the steps.

We got a whole lot more worry ahead.
Thanks, Jack!
