I’m about to save you from getting played by the oldest carny trick in the book…and I’m in a foul fucking mood about it…so this won’t be gentle.
On July 4th…TODAY…the 250th birthday of the United States…the ONE day that belongs to every man…woman…and child in this country…the President of the United States stood at a podium…and told you that half your countrymen are a “communist menace” that needs to be ERADICATED.
Eradicated.
Read that word again. Roll it around.
You eradicate cockroaches. You eradicate smallpox. You eradicate rats in the grain silo. Nobody…NOBODY…uses that word about human beings by accident.
A man with a thousand speechwriters…and a Goddamn teleprompter…does not trip and fall into extermination vocabulary. That word was picked the way a pickpocket picks a mark: carefully…deliberately…and with your wallet in mind.
And where did he run this filth? At the birthday party. Two hundred and fifty years of the only country on Earth founded on the lunatic…beautiful idea that free people can govern themselves without slitting each other’s throats…and this dumb fuck uses the anniversary…to hand out permission slips for hate.
That’s not politics. That’s spitting in the birthday cake and telling you it’s frosting.
Now here’s the con, and I want you to see every gear turning:
A scared man is a BUYING man. Every huckster who ever pitched a tent knows it.
Fear first, sale second…always, forever, no exceptions. And “the communists are coming” is the most shopworn piece of fear-merchandise in American history.
They sold it to your grandpa in the fifties. They sold it to your old man in the seventies. Now they’ve slapped a new coat of paint…on the same rotten wagon…and they’re selling it to YOU…and brother/sister…if you’re nodding along…you’re not a patriot. You’re a CUSTOMER.
Because ask yourself the only question that matters: what does he need you hating your neighbor FOR?
I’ll tell you what for. A man screaming “look at the menace over there!” is a man who desperately needs you not looking over HERE. Rage is the magician’s pretty assistant. It exists…so you watch the wrong hand.
Your neighbor with the wrong yard sign didn’t raise your grocery bill. He didn’t touch your paycheck. He’s standing in the same checkout line…doing the same sad arithmetic…over the same pack of hamburger meat as you.
And the guy at the podium…the lame sack of monkey shit that he is…needs you two snarling at each other…like dogs through a fence…because the SECOND you compare notes instead…the second you both look up at the same time…his whole racket is finished.
The man told you exactly who he is…out loud…into a microphone…on the country’s birthday. He told you he sees eradication as an applause line.
Believe him. And then refuse…REFUSE…to be his sucker.
He can’t cash fear you don’t hand him.

Jack…I’ve been waiting for this to happen, he’s been demonising socialism for a while now, conflating it with communism, also using these words as triggers. So, here we go, it appears this demagogue, this ignorant man is working to provoke another “red scare,” McCarthyism redux, a horrific time in this country, which destroyed so many lives. This cannot happen again and we’ve got to do whatever we can to “nip it in the bud” immediately!
Actually this proclaiming that communism is the enemy and needs to be eradicated is bizarre considering the pathetically subservient relationship he has with former KGB and communist, Vladimir Putin…and the many allegations that he, himself, has been a Russian asset for many years. I actually suspect this is not coming from Trump, but from Miller’s twisted mind, in the desperate need to find an “enemy” and rally the troops, as their poll numbers decline, the disgruntled murmurs are growing from their once devoted cult.
This attack on the Democratic Socialist is extremely worrying and I am quite fearful that this may catch fire and burn what’s left of our country down!
