I love how you are teaching people to be warriors! Not the brutal kind that kills everything in sight, rather the kind that reaches out in the dark, or behind them, to light the way, ultimately to victory over whtever evil/danger is threatening our existence.

thank you! so helpful. you're guiding me to see this as not a short term goal that 'will hopefully be all be over soon'....but rather a position I need to stake out for as long as it takes. I try to think of all the people who have come before us who have surely dealt with worse or simply were not able to live the level of comfort and prosperity we have---obviously not everyone---but might be rather distressed were they to see us in this time giving up and giving in to these disturbed tyrannical maniacs who in many cases look like they can't even control themselves and their appetites, much less a whole political landscape.

You have a knack for knowing exactly when and what we need to hear. Thank you so very much for all the effort you put in to helping us.

I’m in physical pain right now and for the past week or two. Feeling very useless, as pain limits activity and lack of activity makes usual level of poor stamina even worse. But I’m thinking of my father, who fought through Europe with Patton and survived to become my father. They were young, but cold, wet, hungry and being shot at by Nazis. I can hang on until I see the doctor. Even though he’s long since dead, he and his friends fought for us. I also take hope from the Ukrainians who write here. If they can hope,so can we. 👹

I’m sorry you’re going through discomfort right now, Rachel. May your healing (whatever that looks like) take place as quickly and gently as possible for all concerned.

Man's Search for Meaning. Victor Frankl. I read that back in the sixties. I think it's time to read it again. It's excruciating. It''s also incredibly uplifting. And, my God, we need uplifting right now. I am so grateful, Jack, for your posts. But especially for this one. I wasn't able to make it to a protest today and my attitude has gone in the dumper. HOWEVER, all is not lost. There's the next one and, as far as I know, no one died over it.

To my fellow human beings, listen to Jack and never give up.

Thank you, Jack. Here's where I am:

I am not going to stick the the "script" anymore. I spent the past 2.5 years phone banking, texting, postcard-ing, and demonstrating for several Democrats across the country. The results for all but one campaign were successful. I have received threats from MAGA in my beloved state of Montana when I campaigned for John Tester for the Senate race in 2024. I have had my tires slashed. We have to revolt and focus the attention on the White House admin. Not the underlings: Bondi, Duffy, Patel, etc. They are doing their job of being evasive. The House and Senate should spend zero time on questioning them and focus on Peter Thiel, Russ Vought, Donald Devine, Dennis Kirk, Paul Dans. Project 2025 is a
