Lack of confidence was one of the four “table legs” supporting just about every issue I ever assisted others in dealing with more effectively. Sometimes it’s the “leg” supporting the least amount of weight, sometimes it’s the “leg” supporting the most weight. However, if it’s one of the four supporting factors, for some issue someone is dealing with, it’s one that must be dealt with, even if indirectly.
Not too surprisingly, however, lack of confidence is one of those things that many people have a difficult time admitting to others. In my experience, for men, it was extremely tough to admit that they were lacking confidence.
