I agree. I still like to provide additional reasons/insights for having already chosen to do so because the more reasons we have, the more durable and solidified our decisions become. The more infectious our mindset becomes to others. Every additional person we can bring on in this fight will improve our chances of prevailing.
Regarding paid subscribers (I've written about this before, but it's important), the reason that $8 a month is so important...is for how it impacts the person paying it. Yes, it allows me to make a living (and trust me, that's all it does...I'm not getting wealthy), which allows me to write, record, get the message out, and impact more people for the good.
However...here's what it does for the subscriber: There's no question about it; we place more value on what we pay for. Regarding an online publication or newsletter, we are more likely to:
1. Read it.
2. Focus on what we are reading.
3. Take more seriously what we are reading.
4. Tell others about what we have read.
5. Remember what we read for an extended period.
6. Incorporate some of what we've read into our lives, mindset, and behaviors.
7. Have a stronger felt sense of community with a group of like-minded people.
Even if I hit the Powerball and won a billion dollars, I would still have an $8 a month paid subscriber option with extra perks and occasionally nudge people to select that option. There is no question about it.
I know the difference it makes for my paid subscribers, and how that difference benefits the nation in this urgent fight to preserve democracy. I wouldn't even think of depriving people of that because I no longer need to generate an income to do this full-time. No way.
I'm tickled to death whenever a new FREE subscriber joins the list. I'll welcome as many as subscribe.
Considering the reason I write this newsletter, however, my goal is to give them enough FREE content that they want to support my work, and in doing so, raise their level of commitment to the concepts involved in saving this country (even if they aren't aware
that change has occurred) from a man gone mad...who is in the middle of destroying this country in ways that should sicken and anger all of us.
If there is one word that best describes the core component of what will allow us to prevail, it's "commitment." The more commitment, the more likely freedom survives. It's a solid belief that can easily be supported on many fronts.
I want to prevail. You want to prevail. WE...want to prevail.
Uncomfortable truth. Thanks for calling it out. Inaction isn’t neutral.
You're welcome, Cynthia. :)
I imagine those of us reading this post have all chosen

We must.
Inaction is unacceptable at this point. We are on our way right now to protest DJT, Musk and the entire regime in Raleigh NC. HANDS OFF
Beautiful, Jane!! Bravo.
