As an Alaskan Independent voter (and Peltola supporter) I can say, this frivolous, bullshit lawsuit has been fast tracked in court already, and I believe the Federal Judge Sharon Gleason is going to dismiss this bullshit with prejudice for being Bullshit!, and it won't matter either way after the vote is tallied...

A dismissal with prejudice ends the Alaska case. Unfortunately...it doesn’t end the theory. The brief STILL exists. The arguments STILL get refined. The names on the filing STILL show up on the next one.
From the WH point of view, losing in Anchorage costs them nothing...and teaches them way too much.
So go VOTE, celebrate when it’s tossed...and...then keep one eye on who cites it in 2028. That’s the whole point of this article.

Any way we slice it... The Peltola campaign has disgraced us. They RECRUITED everybody they could find with the matching name.... ONE guy said he'd do it. It's cheating. Call a spade a spade no matter who dealt it.
IF Peltola’s people recruited a spoiler, that’s dirty, and I’ll say so in print. I don’t carry water for anyone. Alaska’s elections director called it what it was, and the campaign should answer for it.
Please note, though... the reporting I’ve seen confirms the elections director found the challenger filed to confuse voters, but I haven’t seen confirmation that the Peltola campaign recruited him. That’s been TRUMP'S claim...and based on his level of lies and false claims, I disregard anything he says by default...until it is proven.
Also, please notice what I didn’t argue. I never said the guy belonged on the ballot. I said Alaska’s courts already dealt with it...and the DOJ waited until the polls tightened to file.
The cheating is a STATE problem...with a STATE remedy. The lawsuit is a federal power grab...wearing the cheating as a costume.

I read everything you write every day, Jack. NYT (team) reported that several people w/ matching names were RECRUITED by the campaign. Her ambition has made ALL OF US look really bad... as low as the trumpanzees. She will never live this down....
So tired of election interference no matter what, why, or how. Unless armed conflict is used, election interference will be tried as long as elections are held. Won’t matter because people are still going to be able to spot the problem and correct the problem. The Alaska ballot issue is just another weak attempt to play with voters’ intelligence, distrust, and fear. All sports have fought against silliness and all silliness has been countered successfully. People move on.
You’re right that people are SHARPER than the schemers assume...AND...the fake Sullivan probably fools fewer Alaskans than the DOJ thinks.
Where I’d nudge you a little is on “people move on.” They do...and that’s the vulnerability. The sports analogy actually cuts the other way: leagues don’t beat cheating by trusting fans to notice. They beat it by writing rules...naming names...and making the next guy pay.
Silliness gets countered because somebody REFUSES to move on.
That’s all I’m asking here. Not panic. Attention.
