Thank you so much, Philip. The #1 request I get from people on social media, online...or from subscribers...is, "Tell me what I can DO to make a difference. Staying engaged helps me more than anything."
So...I'm leaning hard into the, "Here's what you can DO..." aspect.
believe it or not, which I'm sure you're not surprised about, the way the headlines are written also makes a HUGE difference in the response, by this reader, at least. '50 reasons to keep your hope'...is a boost of adrenaline and hope at once! It''s not stating it's going to point to a downer...
When the other side has all three branches of government, and a PLAN that is being TRACKED but not widely shared...Project 2025, why are we NOT organizing and planning ahead based on their published PLAN? It's being tracked, but few people seem to know or be talking about this: https://www.project2025.observer/en
Hey, Chrissy...I’m really glad you told me. Your safety matters more than anything I write. Tears and a BP spike are real signals your body needs care right now, especially given what you went through last November.
First, let’s slow things down together for a minute:
Put both feet on the floor, loosen your shoulders
breathe 4–4–6 (inhale 4, hold 4, exhale 6) for a few cycles
sip some water; look around and name 5 things you see.
Are you safe where you are? If you can...call or text someone you trust to stay on the line with you for a bit. If your blood pressure truly feels “off the charts,” please call your doctor/urgent care or go get checked tonight.
If you’re in the U.S....you can call/text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or text HOME to 741741 to reach the Crisis Text Line.
If you’re outside the U.S., you can find local numbers at findahelpline.com. If you feel in immediate danger...please call 911 (or your local emergency number) now.
I’m here with you. Let me know you’re safe...when it's convenient.
Hi Chrissy. Your post brought tears to my eyes. I'm 76, have high bp that's mostly, but not entirely, under control, as well as psychiatric issues throughout my life. We had such hope back in the day, didn't we? But this is where we are now, and we can do this, because we have to. And we have Jack to help us! Take care. 💗
Georgann! What a pleasant surprise to hear from a like-minded woman. I volunteered at the democratic headquarters for the 2020 election cycle which was shut down due to Covid. And again I volunteered for the 2024 cycle until we had to shut down due to a shooting at one of the democratic offices in the Phoenix area. After feeling so sick today, I am getting off my ass and taking action…… will do at least one of the 50 suggestions that Jack has identified. I’m in Tucson, where are you?
I'm in Omaha, Nebraska. We're a blue dot in a red state. It's admirable that you've done what you have, Chrissy, it's more than I can claim. I know I need to do more!
terrific, actionable, necessary knowledge and reminders. thank you as always!! KEEP GOING EVERYBODY

Thank you for listening to people, their requests & following through. It’s all so practical and so necessary.
Excellent list of hope.
Thank you. :)

If we millions of us can pick a different few to focus on, we can chip away at the power of this regime until it has none…
I am literally in tears! My blood pressure is off the charts!
I feel like I did last November when I ended up in the psychiatric hospital with suicidal ideation.
Not Good!
Not Good at all 😢😢😢😢

Feeling better. Drinking lots of water. Reading a mindless Maisie Dobbs novel.
Resting up to go to the Fox Theater here in Tucson to see Keb’ Mo’ with my friend, Elizabeth.
You are a very kind soul.
Thank you friend 💙
I am safe. Doubling up on my Blood Pressure medication. Doc said it’s OK.
Last November I did call 988 and two nurses showed up at my home within half an hour and they took me to the hospital.
I am grateful for your 50 Reasons and will read them all again.
Also appreciate you reaching out to me. It means a great deal to me 💙
I am turning 77 next month and I never in my worst nightmares ever thought our country’s democracy would be destroyed.
I mean, what we did in the 60’s and 70’s? We were the envy of the world!
Okay. I am going to stop this right now.
Breathe in…..Hold……Breathe out….. ahhh 😌

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Just so you know, you are a Godsend to so many of us Jack ❤️
At first, I thought your comment was meant for me and my feathers began fluffing up 🤣🤣🤣
😂💙💙
Even my husband has never said I am a Godsend. So you can imagine how I felt! And the letdown was epic 🤣🤣🤣
You need to have a word with that man of yours! 😂
Thank you. The key to a successful movement is in the word, “Move”. You have given us directions so let’s get going.
Excellent actionable ideas. Provides grounds for teamwork. We are in this together. Thanks, Jack Hopkins!
